3 Reflective Summary Following is the reflective summary of the assignment on Qantas and the various insights achieved while completing this assignment. 1.Yes, I am very much interested in the oral presentation topic because it not helps to increase knowledge on the given topic but improves communication skills and helps to share the experience. The presentation topic was on analysis of the financial statements of the company and it certainly helped in enhancing the knowledge of accounting, finance, reporting, management and disclosures(Fay & Negangard, 2017). 2.There were different sources of the research and the extraction of the information for the presentation done. These includes the website of the company, the annual reports for the last few years and the journal discussing on the recent news of the company. 3.Each member has contributed greatly to the completion of the project. Each one has been involved in a different set of research for each topic given and then based on the research and findings, final discussion was done among the group so that each one among us is aware of all the topics and then the final oral presentation was made. This is how each one in the group was involved and contributed. 4.Yes, the entire group has taken help and suggestion from all the possible means to make it a better presenation and give a good shape so that it is concise and informative. They have taken help from the friends and family members on the way of presentation, the information which should be included, etc(Dumay & Baard, 2017). 5.Yes, I am pretty happy with the layout of the slides, the content and the visual aid that has been used in the presentation slide simply because of the fact that it is informative, concise, legible, presentable and gives out information that is reliable and understandable and will help the audience to come to the conclusion on the company. 6.While preparing the oral presentation, the strengths were generally the willingness and interest in public speaking and making available the best of information to the target audience.Communicationasawholewasstrength.Howver,theweaknesswas consolidating the information from the different sources and to determine its relevance in the given context. 3|P a g e

4 7.On a whole, there have been many learnings howver, few of them which are very valuableandcriticalincludeunderstandingthefinancialstatements, company’s accounting policy and long term and short term strategies, Porter’s five forces and understanding the annual report of company as a whole(Belton, 2017). 8.As far as issues are concerned, there are no issues but there is an opinion as to there are be some major highlights or topics which should always be focused while making an oral presenation on the company’s financials like it should be concise and not in paragraphs, only the critical information should be captured and not the general like the general disclosures or compliance, etc. 4|P a g e
