collected from online job portals such as Indeed, seek and Jora. Such advertisements
have been evaluated on the basis of the experience, attributes and skills required by the
employer from the corporate accountants. The professional and academic qualifications
of the accountants have also been outlined in the report. In addition to this, the learning
unit of the corporate accounting has been compared with the requirements posted in the
advertisement.

Introduction:
In this paper, assessment has been done to gain a clear understanding of
experience’s and qualification that is required from the corporate accountants by the
employers of Australia. This requires examination of some of the advertisements posted
by the employers of the country seeking to fill their vacant position for the post of
different profiles of the corporate accountants. For recruiting the desirable candidates
for the concerned posts traditionally, advertisements were posted through some
advertising agencies or in the newspaper and in the local magazines. However, such
platforms consumed considerable amount of time and required the employer to incur
some costs as well as difficult for the candidates to access the companies With the
advancement of technology, development of online job searching portals have assisted
employers as well as employees in searching for desirable jobs and looking for the
desirable posts. Online job portal is the website designed by the employer that is
intended to deal specifically with the careers for the professionals and the employment.
All the job requirements for the desired position are posted and the job aspirants are
provided with the platform with the help of the online job portals. Therefore, the
applicants are provided with the platform of looking for the jobs and at the same time,
employers are aided with their requirements of fulfilling the job positions.
The paper is prepared to evaluate the requirements of the corporate accountants
by the employers of Australia. This has been done by collecting the job advertisements
from job search portals such as Jora, Seek and Indeed, which are the online job boards
that allow recruiters to reach the candidates across different locations in the world and
providing candidates with the instant updates on the jobs. The lists of different job
profiles advertised on the online job portals displays different criteria and eligibility
requirement such as expertise and educational qualification. A series of questions have
been answered based on the job advertisements collected. All the experiences and
qualifications gathered from the advertisements collected are evaluated against the
outcomes, learning objectives and contents of the subjects. The paper demonstrate the
collection of thirty job advertisements for the position of corporate and management
accountant, tax accountant, senior accountant, accountant corporate finance, corporate
financial and management accountant, senior accountant for corporate reporting and
tax.

That is, ten jobs are sourced from Indeed, ten jobs from Jora and ten jobs from Seek.
