To complete the study and gather information, research is needed that is conducted by
individuals and groups of people by using their skills. While gaining information different types
of research questions is being prepared that need to be of good quality as it helps to understand
and respond properly (Hismanoglu, 2019). The present report covers information regarding
qualities of the good research question.
Topic: Qualities of good research question
To gain knowledge and understanding about a particular topic there is a need to conduct
the study as it helps to get valid and relevant data. This is most important for an individual to
develop their skills and knowledge by using primary and secondary data collection sources. The
students of IDEA Academy responding towards this question such as:
A good research question is a question that has not already been answered, or has not
been answered completely, or has not been answered for specific context. The research question
needs to be connected to topic and prepared objectives so that right answers could be receive
from different respondents. The language needs to be well known and easily understandable so
that answers in right form could be gain. The questions quality should clearly explain what the
writer needs to do. The topic of research should be researchable and structured that could help to
get answers properly and manage all activities. The topic of research should be interesting to
researcher as well as respondents so that answers can get accordingly. The researcher should
invest their time to prepare quality questions by following ethical consideration and informed
consent that support to get answer properly. Before writing quality research questions it is
needed to read a small number of relevant academic sources. The researcher should be focus on
main idea and topic that make sure prepare questions will help to achieve research objectives
(den Hoed, 2021).
Quality of research question should be good as simple and easy to understand for all. The
language which is going to be used by the researcher should be appropriate and relevant where

A research question can prepare different research questions by using their ability and
skills that can help to get answers from different respondents and support to reach the
conclusion. While preparing research questions it should be considered that questions need to be
related to the topic and could help to meet with research aims & objectives (Tracy, 2019) Before
constructing good research questions there is a need to understand the topic clearly and
determine the requirement of the assignment. The researcher should understand the purpose of
the assignment and project so that the quality of information could be collected accordingly by
preparing questions. While preparing the research question to choose topic and methodology of
conducting preliminary research should be chosen that can help to complete the study
effectively. If the quality of questions is not good and difficult to understand then it would be
difficult to prepare the right questions and develop their learnings. The main object behind
preparing research questions is to collect valid and appropriate information regarding topics that
can support managing all activities. The questions should be ask to those people who are
interested to share their opinion and wants to develop their knowledge or learning in relation to
particular topic (Blakeslee and Fleischer, 2019).
