BACKGROUND
 Project management refers to planning, organizing and
implantation of operational activities to achieve the desired
results. For each project the process of managing the operations is
different according to conditions and degree of the risk involved .
 The current project is based on the quality control problems that is
faced by many of the organizations during the complication of the
project.
 For the management of quality in the project she team has to
follow some standards and requirements that provided by the
management or client.
 The decision making plays critical role in the planning of the
quality control measurement to avoid such kind of risks. The time
and cost of the project also consider in the successful
management of project.

RESEARCH QUESTIONS
The current research will undertake the following
questions:
 What factors are consider in the quality control?
 What actions are required to overcome the
issues related to quality control ?
 What software can be used in Automobile
industry for quality control ?
 Identification of configuration issues ?

RESEARCH OBJECTIVES
The objectives of research are:
 To improve the quality of the process in the Auto
mobile industry
 To develop the framework for quality control
 To improve the efficiency of the project by
considering the time and cost
 To maintain the high quality in design,
manufacturing and safety

CAUSES AND ISSUES
Following are the major issues in the quality
control:
 Lack of application in the planning
 Lack of knowledge about the Enterprise
Quality Management System (EQMS)
 Less time for completing the project
 Lack of budget for implementation of software

LITERATURE REVIEW
The literature review will consider the past studies on quality
control importance and issues that need to be consider for
managing it.
In this literature review, the reasons behind the quality factors
becoming rising issues in projects have been analysed.
Without quality control, the project may be successful but after
sometime, various faults and loopholes of the project become
noticeable.
Quality control is a problem that is adversely affecting all the
industries as this is the age of capitalism and each and every
company is looking to earn maximum amount of profits
irrespective of the quality of the product or service outcome.

Time constraint: Before starting the project, the
company instructs the project managers to earn as
much profit as they can as an outcome of the project.
The prior planning and assessment of issues will be
helpful for managing the issues related to quality
control.
Cost constraint: Most of the projects have limited
budgets and the project managers are to gain
maximum amount of profits and cost benefit from the
project as well as not to exceed the project budget
during the project.

Quality control as part of project: The preparation of
the project plan document, the project manager
should include quality control at different parts of the
project to ensure all the project activities are
conducted according to plan.
Time and money: It is important to provide
satisfactory time and money for the project that will
help to manager the quality by monitoring of the each
stage.

Value to the customers: This is an main factor that
needs to be consider for planning of the quality
standards in the auto mobile project as preparation of
the issues need to be done according to the proposed
standard of the quality.
Use of technology: The organizations can use different
tools and software for managing and monitoring of the
quality of the products and services. The management
can use PID and MATLAB for controlling of the quality
in the project.

Methodology
It will consider the past studies considered in
the literature review and set the methods for
managing the research.
The methodology will develop survey question
and conduct interviews for collecting the data.
It will also use the case studies for focusing on
the issues for risk management in the quality
control.

Sampling
The sample is the portion selected out of a large
population representing as the whole. The sample of
respondents would be selected out of the employees
of automobile industry.

Sample size
 A sample of 30 respondents and would be provided
with the questionnaire specifically. The respondents
would be selected by making use of simple random
sampling technique.
 About 10 respondents would be selected for
interview purpose. For conducting an interview, the
researcher would select higher managerial
authorities out of the departments of automobile
industry

Setting
The interviews would be arranged in the official
premises only so that to make convenient for the
authorities and manage their time as well. The
respondents would be informed about the research
motive and issues. It is anticipated to be between
Wednesday and Friday and nearly around 2 P. M to 4
P.M.

Protocol
 The respondents would be identified with the help
of human resource departments of the industry by
stating specific criteria of the research.
 In order to send the e-mails to the respondents, the
researcher would first collect the email addresses
from either the human resource departments or the
respondents itself.

Data analysis
 Primary data analysis was done with the
help of SPSS software. The tool is widely used
as it is simple and friendly software for data
analysis.
 The statistical analysis will help in improving
the validity and reliability of research.
 Analysis of data will help to identify the
quality control measures and approaches
that can be used for improving the quality in
the automobile industry.

Time line
 For the research 4 months time is allocated
 The tasks will be done in order that proposed in
time frame
 The time line will consider the elements from the
preparation to conclusion of the research.
