Retail sector organizations faces a lot of quality issues. In order to improve effectiveness of
business Deming’s 14 points of total quality management can be used. It will help Tesco to
bring improvement within their overall business. Tesco is a British retail sector organization

products in long term. They also focus on
predicting and preparing challenges that can be
faced by organization that can work as a barrier in
achieving organizational goals. They also focus
on inspiring workers to remain competitive in the
market.
2. Adopt a new philosophy In order to remain competitive in the market,
Tesco need to focus on accepting new
philosophies as per the changing trends and
technologies in the market.
3. Dependence on mass inspections Tesco does not depend upon mass inspection
because if they only depend upon mass
inspection, they cannot control the overall quality
of the product in a timely manner and for this it is
