Quality management ensure that an enterprise, service or product is consistent. It mainly
has four elements; quality assurance, planning, improvement and control. They not only
emphasised on products and services but also achievement of long term goals (Abdulla and et.
al., 2013). It is an effective tools that assist a company in order to design and develop a product
within the clients actually desires and wants. It is also essential and important for the satisfaction
of audience which yet leads to customer loyalty. This report is based on care setting in which
role of manager is to motivate their employees by using different kind of motivational theory.
Thus, it support the business to manage make an effective and strong team.
INTRODUCTION
Quality management is depict as an act of overseeing entire tasks and activities required
to keep a desired level of excellence. It covers the finding of a quality policy, implementing and
developing quality improvement, assurance, planning and control. It is more essential and
important for the care setting to reduce inventory and waste. In order to improve quality
management, business entity should try to provide motivation and many other facilities to the

religions, hobbies, personal growth, advancement, training, creativity and growth. Further, entire
workforce needs above requirements in order to improve quality management and maximise
profitability and productivity of the company in certain time period. Another is esteem needs
which covers high status, recognition, friends, responsibilities and many other aspects. In this
manager is responsible to allot business tasks and activities as per its knowledge and skills.
Belongingness, is another part of this theory which teams, co-workers, supervision, clients and
subordinates. In this employees are needed to team workers and subordinates. Thus it is essential
for them to maximise employees long time relation in the company. Safety is also important
needs for the workers in the achievement of predetermined objectives and goals. Physiological
needs is also needed by the employees to maintain their strong position in business. In this they
require fair salary and compensation as per their work and performance in the enterprise. All
these needs are benefited for the company to improve their quality management process in an
effective and efficient manner.
Equity Theory imply that an individual move in social comparison by examining their
rewards and efforts with those of accurate others (Care Quality Commission, 2012). In this
individual perception regarding the fairness of their efforts and rewards relative another
influence their motivation level. In this role of the manager is to provide equal treatment to their
entire workforce. Thus it help business entity in order to maximise their productivity and
performance at marketplace. Therefore, it also assist in the improvement of products and service
quality which is beneficial for them to gain competitive advantages in limited time period. This
theory support the organisation to attain their predetermined and long term objectives. In this
role of the business is to equally handle and manage all team systematically which is important
to them to maximum employee relation in the business as a long duration. In this model role of

Herzberg's Two factor theory is another important and beneficial model for the

factor such as Hygiene and motivators. As per the part of hygiene factor employee become
dissatisfied as well as act to acquire them back. In this workforce required decent working
condition, benefits, pay, security, interpersonal relationships, company policy, and many other.
All these are main part of the motivation which assist to maximise level of motivation and work
for the achievement of long term objectives and goals of company. Thus, it is also beneficial for
the quality team to improve their product and services. Better and effective quality of the product
highly useful for the enterprise to attract wide range of customers towards them. This theory
benefited to the worker to complete tasks and activities of company in allotted time period.
Vroom's expectancy theory is another and foremost motivation theory which is important
to the employees as well as organisational also. It help help the company to gain competitive
advantages in limited time period. This model is developed by the Vroom that supposes that
valence, instrumentality and expectancy are increased with each other in order to analysis
motivation. It is significant for the business to encourage their performance as well as motivation
level in an effective manner. Therefore, with the assist of these they can accomplish their long
term objectives. In this healthcare provider provide effective training and development to the
employees which support to maximise their knowledge base easily. It is important for the
employees to deal with complex situation easily and systematically (Chassin and Loeb, 2013).
