4.2 The importance of communication and record keeping in quality management There is a much importance of communication and effective record keeping in Starbucks. Communication is the process by which information from one department is carried over other department. If the manager of Starbucks wishes to opt for new strategiesandtechniquestoenhancethequalityintheir premises, then it is necessary for him to communicate this to the employees and lower level managers so as to implement it effectively.Communicationisalsoveryimportantforthe business organization as it enable the company to coordinate with outsiders as well as its employees of the company. 4.3 Stages of staff consultation in Starbucks For growth and development of all the aspects of organization, it is must for the employees of the company to exchange their views and opinions by talking to each other. The manager of Starbucks applies different types of approaches and methods which are useful for maintaining the quality of products and services. The manager consults his staff and employees at all the stages of the company. Through this, it leads to encouragement in all employees of firm. There are three level of staff in the company that are; top level management, lower level management and employees. Top level management percepts the ideas and strategies and assign the duty to implement it to lower level.
4.4 New systems or modifications to existing systems that could improve service quality. There is a need to modify the existing system of Starbucks to make it more efficient and viable. These requirements should be done by the cited company: to track mistake by using Statistical Process Control: this method can be used to track issues and also to keep the records of data in company. Invest in training of employees: the manager of cited company needs to conduct the training sessions of the company in order to develop the skills in its employees.
