Previous year Current state
Research has shown that the mortality rate
was high in United States in the previous
year. There was a time when the mortality
rates were high, respiratory and diarrheal
diseases are rampant. This was due to low
organization of healthcare services, high
cost of the available services as well as the
low quality of the available services. The
reason for poor healthcare services was also
due to low level of awareness among the

A large number of measures has been taken
in order to improve the quality of life that
has resulted in the decrease in the rate of
mortality (Mahler, 2016). Mortality rate is
one of the measures to define the success of
healthcare and thus, decrease in mortality is
an efficient way to know the changes that
has occurred in United States for improving
healthcare services. This can be explained
by the use of an example that highlights the
difference of chiropractic services in the
US. Chiropractic services are now included
as clinical services that show effectiveness
in the treatment of the
neuromusculoskeletal disorders or low back
pain disorders (French et al., 2013). It has
also been included in some plans and
schemes that cover this in preventive care.
The quality of healthcare services can be
