This article provides a review of two research papers, one qualitative and one quantitative, related to healthcare for older populations. The papers were published in BMC Geriatrics and The Cochrane Library, respectively. The qualitative study explored the perspectives of residents and family members regarding in-situ care for pneumonia, while the quantitative study assessed social interventions for influenza uptake in older populations. The article also discusses the rationale for selecting these papers and the journals they were published in.
