 problems that have arisen because of cultural differences.
Cultural diversity in the workplace is one of the major issue. These issues
erupt because of the differences in the cultural background. As Pankaj Ghemawat,
resounded the importance of growing a cosmopolitan attitude in the managerial board,
he also stressed the significance of it in the cultural assimilation in the context of
globalization (Ghemawat 2001). However, due to the cultural differences there can
arise lot of problem in an organization. Due to the cultural difference, there might
arise cross-cultural miscommunication for example, in Japanese culture it is generally
the senior who starts a conversation any interruption in between the order might work
as insult. Cultural differences also affects their working style because it is the cultural
pattern that affects the sense of work in any individual.
 Why these problems have arisen
One of the major factor that have led to the emergence of such situation in
globalization. With the onset of globalization there has been arise in the functional
integration, facilitating the citizen to move across the borders. Owing to the
mainstream culture, commonsensical notions affects the perception of the people and
they remain victim of the single story, which is incomplete. Thus, there result cross-
cultural mis-communication. Prejudiced thought process serves as blind-folder and
views the reality only in partial form. Judgemental thinking and typifying cross-
cultural notion can be the primary cause for the problems in mis-communication,
stereotyping and so on.
 what cultural competencies the stakeholders should have considered to avoid the
confusion
The main reason for such kind of situation is due lack of clear communication. work
pressure takes a heavy toll on them, therefore whatever guides one built against one
