government could tackle the problems
Overpopulation is described as state where human population rise to the extent exceeding
carrying capacity of ecological setting. In overpopulated areas and regions the resources as
against the people are scarce. It leads to deterioration of environment and the quality of life.
The main issues related to the overpopulation in urban areas are unemployment and
environmental deterioration. The ever increasing population is increasing the unemployment
issues in most of the countries. Government are not able to provide jobs to all the people and it is
causing serious concerns for the countries (Van Daoa and Vanb, 2020). It leads the skilled youth
towards health related issues and to more serious concern towards increase in crimes for
survival. Increasing population is causing unemployment issues in most part of the world which
is required to be controlled. Jobs are less than people seeking it causing unemployment problems
The second most serious issues is exploitation of environment due to increasing population.
It is leading cutting of forests, air pollution and air pollution. Corporations and organisations are
utilising the scare resources for their own profits and benefits. The environment exploitation is
having issues over health of people. The scarce resources are causing the prices to increase
continuously. It is becoming significant concern for the people and government to take actions
for protecting the environment. The non renewable resources are depleted at increasing rate. The
actions and initiatives are not same as against the exploitation. The increasing population also
cause other issues such as poverty, malnutrition, increase in prices and many more.
The problem of unemployment has to be controlled by the government and people. Actions
such as the monetary policy could cut the interest rates for boosting the aggregate demand and
cutting the taxes. Government could also give grants and subsidies to the organisation to
establish units in backward areas and regions for promoting the employment (Kelly-Reif and
Wing, 2016). Also the schemes for boosting the entrepreneurship and start ups will have to be
created for encouraging people to start their own business. Creativity and innovation should be
encouraged by education campaigns.

It is also essential for the people and government to become active and vigilant towards the
exploitation of environment and natural resources. The rate of deterioration has to be controlled
for safeguarding people. People should use resources that are renewable and promoting the
companies that use environment practices. Government should impose taxes and high
compliance requirements for reducing the use of environment resources (Han and et.al., 2017).
The research and development should be promoted for creating alternative sources for natural
resources. People have to ensure that the organisation causing environment pollution are stopped.
Further people are required to be educated about the increasing population and its
consequences. Government is required to lay policies for controlling population such as
education and other control measures like use of contraceptives in backward areas.
