1.1 Diversity is a range of differences in features or abilities that can be used to characterize
people in a social set up
Equality is about a person enjoying the same privileges and being entitled to similar things
and opportunities like other people.
Inclusion refers to a person being involved in the same things like others and ensuring that
every party is enjoined in an activity.
Discrimination involves segregating an individual or sidelining a person because of their
characteristic or they are as people.
1.2 Discrimination can lead to negative effects such as psychological trauma, marginalization
and cause someone to have negative perceptions about other people.
1.3 Inclusive practice supports equality and diversity as it embraces the differences among
people and also ensures that people are treated in a fair way within the society. It is important
in promoting cohesion and integration.
2.1 The legislation and code of practice apply to the work place through setting regulations and
guidelines on what should be done and the activities that one is not supposed to undertake.

7.3 Risk assessment requires constant revision because risks diversify constantly and therefore
there is need to adopt new solutions to upcoming problems.
