The impact of WHS regulation 2011 in the territory is positive. As people are aware
about their rights, there is less chance of any hazardous incidence in the vicinity. In such
situation, it is possible to create a healthy and friendly environment in the workplace. If any
hazard occurs, it can be easily removed (Barrett, Mayson and Bahn 2014).

Impact of Consultation:
Workers are able to share the matters related to WHS readily.
Hazards are identified and awareness regarding that can be conveyed.
Impact of co-operation
Co-operation in WHS described by the reply that the workers provide to the
higher authority, when they approach them to discuss about hazards or problems
faced by the workers.

Scope: the scope of this manual is manual task in the workplace.
Objective: the objective of this framework is to decrease the occurrence and harshness of
musculoskeletal disorders to workers performing manual tasks.

The identified authority of WHS in the state helps to implement the rules in the territory.
They conduct surveys in every company where the WHS has been applied or has the scope to be
applied and ask the employees about potential hazard present in their work safety (Chan-Mok,
Caponecchia and Winder 2014).

Privacy of the employee is the first right in workplace. The confidentiality of
employee’s personal detail should be maintained.
The second right is freedom and harassment free work environment.
2.2
Employees should take care of their own health and safety and the same of others
in the workplace while working.
Representation of an injured employee, by supporting and making him/her back to
the work is another responsibility of the employees.

Employers have right to appoint any employee as per their merit or just to expect
positive productivity from employee.
Employers have right to dismiss employees as per their poor performance of less
productivity.

The employer should provide the employees with adequate training about health
and safety while working in a healthcare setting.
Employer should maintain a safe environment in the workplace and should
arrange all the equipment in such a way that it does not harm any employee.

Hazardous manual task is defined as a task that requires a person to push, pull, lower or
lift anything or move or hold any person involved in repetitive movement or sustained force
(Goode et al. 2014).

tough to grip or hold.
3. A task demanding an individual to sort objects on a conveyor belt.
