During the crash
The female driver herself is the victim as she was not wearing her seat belt and was
driving the old car whose brake was worn out. She applied the worn brake which lead to rolling
of her car. It is seen that her car was not having airbag so she got severely injured.
Post-crash
After the accident the victim was send to the nearby hospital, however she was still in
coma.

in unlit street in drunk condition. There is the probability that the victim would get severe head
injury and fracture in her head or spinal. As it is seen that the brake of her car was worn, the car
would get more damaged instead of just rolling several time. During the crash it was seen the car
was not having airbags, there is the risk that victim would get multiple fracture in her face.

al., 2016).

Feature of social environment leading to health risk
It is seen from the case study that social environment greatly impact the health of the
individual. A healthy social environment make the person peaceful, happy and stress free (Lee,
Jordan & Horsley, 2015). There are several features of social environment that can lead to health
associated risk to Susan and Lisa. First, having a husband who does not support their family is
associated great financial risk to Susan and Lisa. Susan has to work hard beyond her limit to get
a living which is overburdening her. Second, not getting support and love from family is
associated with stressful condition which leads to frequent headache. She becomes fatigue and
tried after working. She might develop hypertension, heart disease or diabetes due to
overstressing herself. Third, ignorance from the Neighbor of Susan is badly affecting her self-
esteem. Due to this she is over stressing herself to live a healthy and normal life, which is
directly affecting her health.
Feature of economic environment leading to health risk
It is evident from the case study that in economic crisis, person has to struggle in getting
job due to which they become financially weak. Due to weak economic planning, country is not
able to provide employment to peoples (Panayotou, 2016). Susan has to work for less number of
hours and she is not receiving adequate amount that is making her economically unstable and
incapable to make a living. Hence, country weak economic condition and financial weakness of
the people are some of the features of economic environment which is affecting their health. Due
to such economic environment, she has to live in polluted town in busy highway due to low rent.

husband, made her to work to pay for rents, food and schooling. She has to work beyond her

psychologically and physically.
Feature of physical environment leading to health risk
Through analysis of case study, some features of physical environment has been
highlighted which is causing health risk. First, it is seen that living in polluted town can cause
several health issues (Sallis, Owen & Fisher, 2015). Susan and Lisa facing economic crisis and
disparity from their family made them to stay in polluted area. Lisa has develop asthma and
Susan is having frequent headache. Thus, living in polluted environment can led to health risk.
Second feature of physical environment is absence of pavement footpath and bicycle lane. It is
seen in the case study, Lisa is not able to ride a bicycle, though Susan cannot afford it. Such
absence in physical environment can make person low in physical health. Third feature of
physical environment where she is live presence of ignorant and obstructive people. Susan and
