Professional Workshop – Training to the Employees
Workshop Overview
There is a new tool that is to be used in the organization and the employees of the
organization need to be trained on the same. The workshop will include the planning,
execution, and control activities. It is required to train the employees so that the operational
excellence and the technical knowledge of the tool shall be improved.
Methodology for Workshop
The workshop will be planned using a phase by phase approach. The conduction of the
workshop will be done in three major phases. The planning of the training will be done by
identifying the employees that shall be trained. The identification will be done on the basis of
the availability of the candidates for training and the professional schedule to arrange training
accordingly. There will be certain tools that will be needed for training. The procurement of
the tools and equipment will be done. The estimation and planning of schedule and cost of
training will be required to be done in the planning phase. There will be identification of the
trainers and resources that will be needed to be done for training. The allocation of specific
roles and responsibilities of the resources will be done. A training plan will be prepared in
this phase comprising of all of this information.
The next phase in the workshop will be the execution of training. Conduction of training will
be done and there will be feedback collected from the resources.
The last phase in the process will be the control and closure phase. The review and analysis
of the feedback collected from the resources will be done. There will be certain improvement
areas that will be identified from the feedback collected from the resources. The trainers will
be provided with the ratings and a final closure report will be prepared.

Integration Process
There are a total of three phases that are present in the training workshop. The integration of
these three phases, the activities, and the resources allocated to the tasks will be done as per
the PMBoK approach for project management. It will make sure that the execution is

There may be a few potential barriers that may come up during the training process. The

communication is another challenge that may arise due to availability issues. There may be
