MBA or Masters in Business Administration is a graduate degree which can be achieved
at a university or a college which provides theoretical as well as hands-down practice training.
This helps the graduates to understand general business management functions better. MBA
degrees can be on marketing, finance as well as accounting. The duration of the course is two
years.
The selected course for my study is MBA. There are several reasons for choosing an
MBA program which are extremely important. It is a big decision for aspiring global managers.
The desire to enter the competitive business world of today is the main reason for me to choose
to do the course at a business school in Sydney in Australia. It is also worth the initial financial
investment. The course provides a lot of advantages, which increase in case of top business
schools with best reputation1. The advantages are in the field of work, acquisition of high
management positions or also help in attaining the highest positions in the corporate ladder.
Young professionals as well as students pursue this course, but I am confident that this
course will help me start my career in a better way if I pursue it after my completion of studies.
MBA helps in the manufacture, advertisement and selling of products. It teaches to maintain
healthy finances of the company. It also helps in the maintenance of a positive image of the
company, the gathering as well as interpretation of the industry data, helps in keeping the people
motivated and also teaches to create hierarchies which help the company to thrive 2.

The course helps in getting access to a large business network. It also is necessary that
the student receives better opportunities for business. So I feel that the course is essential. It
helps to accentuate the business management capabilities. I feel that I will also get a chance to
meet potential employers through the different internships which are a part of most MBA
programmes. In case I receive valuable connections, it will help me in getting a great overview
of the business worlds and a deep understanding of the business environment 3.
Another important aspect of pursuing the course is the chances of receiving a better
salary. Candidates possessing the MBA degree are expectant of earning twice the amount of
salary than candidates possessing other Masters degrees.
There is also a possibility of starting business of one’s own from absolute scratch. MBA
courses help create powerful entrepreneurs. It helps in turning them to reality. It also opens the
door to thriving career opportunities. There are other benefits as well which include the gaining
of experience regarding a new place and culture as also other business career prospects 4.
All these aspects have led me to believe that I should pursue the MBA course and I am
interested to study it at Sydney, Australia as I feel that it will help me in the future and help
become a successful professional.
