1RECREATIONAL PROJECT Organization Profile and Program Concept Description Organizational profile The concerned organization,Kitchener Waterloo library is aspace where people borrow infrequently used items such as different tools, garden equipment, kitchen appliances or camping gear(Kwlot.ca., 2020). The organization is located in91 Moore Ave.Kitchener (Kwlot.ca., 2020). The membership charges for the library is $50/year which would enable the members in borrowing any items for a week (Kwlot.ca., 2020).The organization aims at maintaining the sustainability standards through empowering a philosophy based on sharing. Program concept description The recreational program that might be held in the organization would include a range of activities under a single workshop for adhering to the recreational needs of the special children. The program would include activities likeadaptive sports. The activities would focus on alleviatingtheirlevelofstressandemotionalwellbeingoftheparticipants.Eminent psychotherapistsandvolunteersalongwithanacclaimedcoachwouldadministerthe whereabouts of the different activities that are undertaken by the children. In this connection, the 4 days’ workshop is intended to contribute to their physical and mental wellbeing of the participants. Data Collection Survey questions The survey questions would primarily identify the needs of the special children towards recreation. The questions would identify the major contributors of the recreational program to the mental and physical wellbeing of the special children. Moreover, the survey would also identify whether the children would face challenges while participating in the adaptive sports event.
