1RECRUITMENT AND SELECTION
Introduction
Recruitment and selection process in ABC Glass has an essential presence as the
company is planning to recruit candidate who will be responsible for both internal and external
communication of the company. The hiring process of the candidate will comprise of
recruitment, selection and screening of the candidate (Slavić, Bjekić,& Berber, 2017). The
process of recruitment and selection plays a vital part in the company as it ensures the work
performance of the candidate and cater the positive leadership attributes. There is a vital
requirement of candidates so that the company can have successful and motivating employee,
who will also ensure that the functioning of the organisation is running successfully (Wardekker
et al., 2016). The significant requirement for most effective member who can facilitate the duties
of writing corporate newsletters, communicating with the peers, coaching a senior officer on way
to improve interpersonal skills, communicating orally and many more.
Recruitment Plan
Recruitment in ABC Glass is referred to as identifying, attracting, interviewing, hiring
and selecting the employees. The process involves everything from identifying the candidate till
the process goes to sending the employee on board (Pashayan et al., 2016). As per the size of the
organisation the process of recruitment is the responsibility of a range of workers. The most
important method of recruitment for ABC Glass is direct method and third party method
(Wardekker et al., 2016). Most of the time the method of direct technique of recruitment is
applied. In direct method of recruitment the representative that is the HR department of the
organisation sends the potential members in the training institutes (Crall et al., 2017). The

members establish a contact with the candidates who seek jobs. The representative work with the
companies which offers the candidate with the placements in different companies. ABC Glass
follows this method and it obtains few of the potential candidates from different institution who
are dedicated to work.
The other method of recruitment is hiring the employees internally within the
organisation who can apply for different positions and those who are currently employed within
the same place.
