It has been observed that there are a lot of supervisors who are not at all well-trained on the
difficult task with regards to terminating the workers and instead resort to some of the other
methods of forcing an individual out of the firm. Some of the methods consist of giving the
workers some of the unpleasant tasks, modifying their jobs as well as reducing their working
hours in a negative manner.
Business ethics are an area of corporate responsibility where the businesses are socially and
legally obligated for conducting the businesses in an ethical manner. The issues that will be
faced by the company are as follows: In terms of reducing the working hours of the
employees because of the manager it can damage the reputation of the business as an ethical
employer and can cause the main workers to leave the firm immediately. Secondly, if the
manager/supervisor gives an employee unpleasant work tasks then also it can hurt the firm to
a great extent. If employees are given improper tasks then they will leave the organization
even giving a notice so this will be hurting the profits of the firm. Thirdly, if their job tasks
are modified in a negative manner then it is also one of the ethical issues because the
employees are not at all aware beforehand so this is not legal also. The organization may be
blamed afterwards for not following the ethics properly and they may be fined heavily
(Tiwary & Pradesh, 2011).
