qualify one of the ads as poor. Yet, I have tried to make some analysis below. I hope my analysis is not biased. It has been done under the light of

After a careful observation it was found that GNT Fine Wines have better structure and they have also mentioned Perks in
the job description which is missing from the jib description of Latrobe Regional Gallery which is looking for a Gallery
Assistant. Perks are important to be mentioned in the job description. Though GNT Fine Wines have not mentioned the
benefits in technically clear and correct way, they do mention that the employee are going to enjoy working with the
company. This is a positive sign and makes the candidate build a goodwill in favour of the company. So I , personally,
would give higher marks to GNT Fine Wines.
Both the job description have some of the points missing But a major point that is missing from the job description of
Latrobe Regional Gallery is readability. Ease of reading the job description is important. Latrobe Regional Gallery goes on
to give the details in the link at the bottom of the ad. Though it is important to direct the candidate to the website, it is
equally important to have a complete job information on the introductory part as well. So above is the conclusion that I

Latrobe Regional Gallery is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic individual, with strong attention to detail and high
standards of presentation.
As Gallery Assistant your key responsibilities will include assisting the gallery team in the exhibition installation, and
demounting of exhibitions. Other aspects of the role include assisting with collection management tasks.
As the successful applicant you will have Qualifications in Fine Arts/Visual Arts or Museum Studies; or in lieu of
these qualifications an acceptable level of relevant achievement, knowledge and skills in this discipline.
Demonstrated ability in preparation, installation and demounting of exhibitions is desirable. A high level of manual
dexterity is important, as you will be required to paint walls, use ladders, power tools and hand tools, on a regular
basis. Manual skills in carpentry are desirable and holding an elevated work platform license would also be an
advantage.
