Sensitivity of network The network diagram developed is highly sensitive as the activities have start to end precedence and each of the activities are connected with one or more than one activities. The network comprise of listing the analysis of the critical task analysis and the formation of the improved analysis methods. 5. Project Milestones The two most appropriate milestones for the project are completion of the manufacturing processandinstallingproductionequipment.Themilestoneshavebeenselectedwith consideration of the major work requirements for the project. The first milestone of completion of the manufacturing process is selected as the project would require the inclusion of the activities of manufacturing and developing the final product. The over allocation is a major issue in developing the successful completion of the project. All the resources were over allocated and it has been shown below,
TheoverallocatedresourceswereMarketingSpecialist,DesignEngineer,Development Engineer, Industrial Engineer, Purchasing Agent, and Test Rider. 2. The levelling of the resources considering the slack is shown below, It can be seen that all the over allocations have not been resolved by only considering the slack and avoiding resource inclusion. The end date has been same and the project duration has been same.
3. The levelling of the project based on slack only has resulted in changing the network diagram as shown, 4. Considering the project resource limitation and the completion of the mitigation of over allocation would result in the scheduling the project for 357 days ranging from 2ndof January 2015 to 24thMay, 2016. 5. The new schedule is 100 days later to the previous schedule. The resources have indirect relation with the project schedule. The increase in resources would decrease the time taken for the project and the decrease in resource would increase the time required for completion of the work. Gantt chart
