INTRODUCTION
Reflection draws relevant learning through action in order to accelerate performance. The
metrics and objectives of performance can ground and inform reflection of work group regarding
the influence of actions as well as performance it is accomplish. For reflecting on the
performance, it is necessary for an individual to reflect on own experience, learning and their
application to practice (Cavilla, 2017). Reflecting on own learning enable an individual to
develop the skills for critical thinking and enhance the future performance through analysing the
learning. This report is based on reflection on own performance which helps in understanding
and achieving effective learning outcomes. This report covers reflection on my performance in
group presentation and module and based on that, the professional and academic areas that needs
further development are discussed. At last, an action plan is prepared which includes the way of
personal and professional development in future.
MAIN BODY
Reflection on own performance in the group presentation and in the module
I am a student studied in the module named as "Preparing for success: self-development
and responsibility". I am reflecting on my own performance and learning while undertaking the
module. In the initiation of module, I was assigned by my tutor with the group presentation task
in which I needed to prepare a presentation and present it in front of class. That presentation was
about success and how it may be attained in relation to studentship. Initially, when I was
assigned with the task to give presentation, I felt nervous and don't know about how to give
presentation as this was my first presentation. Although, I needed to give presentation in group, I
felt nervous and my confidence level became low (Choi, Walters and Hoge, 2017). But then my
group members and my tutor helped me and motivate me which made me able to think about
giving the presentation. In this task, the roles and responsibilities of each member in the group
were divided equally. I was assigned with the responsibility to collect data on the topic, i.e.,
success. In studentship, the success may be attained through developing clear objectives,
planning, self-confidence, self-discipline and positive attitude.
When I started to collect data online, I faced difficulties as I have no knowledge regarding
which website or source I can use to collect data from and which source I cannot use. My tutor
taught me that while collecting data it is very much required to ensure that the website of source
