INTRODUCTION The present report is a reflection that is based on the assessment of skills and overall knowledge with regards to the MBA course provide and various theoretical analysis, further there has been a assessment of the knowledge and skills based on the experience pre and post the MBA course further there us a discussion of the leadership qualities that are required by a placement organisation(Moonen, 2019). MAIN BODY Assessment of knowledge and skills gained till date with respect to MBA course MBA course is a management course that is helping in developing some of skills that has actually helped me in shaping and enhancement of my professional and personal skills both (Kibbe, ., 2019). The knowledge level has rise because of all the different subjects that have been taught throughout this course and the practical application of that knowledge. Such as understand and reading a theory is easy but application of that in the practical life is a difficult task. There are many leadership and management theories that I have able to learn in this course. Some of the examples of theories are discussed below: Motivational theory for motivating employee’s so the Maslow’s need hierarchy theory: It is one of the very popular theories that have been developed by Maslow in which there are five basic needs of a individual that has been identified: Physiological needsare those that are related with the survival needs of a human being such as food, shelter and water without which a human being cannot survive, safety needsconsist of the job security, financial security and emotional security, belongingness needsare those that are related with the feeling of belongingness and interpersonal relationships of a individual, esteem needs consist of the desire of independence, desire for reputation and last is theself actualisation needsin which a person realises theory own potential and then are willing to see their personal growth and self fulfilment(Lavergne, . and Pelletier, 2016). So, these are some of the needs that are part of the motivational theory that have been taught in the MBA lectures. Nowwhileapplyingthistheorythereisarequirementtoconsiderthechanging requirement and the dynamic nature of organisation. So, post MBA when I will be working in a organisation then I have to someday motivate my subordinates then there is requirement to use this theory as it applies on every individual in a complete different manner as the conditions are
not same and this is the major technique of how to practically apply a particular theory in practise. Apart from the above discussed motivational theory there arte some other skills that are required for the purpose of leading a team in every organisational and for this there is a need of some team development and management skills that have also been taught to me while in this MBA course. Such as setting of a vision: In this a particular vision and mission is set and is communicated to the whole team members this is the actual objective around which each and every step of the team member is depended on(Rudolph, 2016). Then in next step there has to be use of aparticular leadership stylethere are several types of leadership styles such as democratic in which all members are allowed to present their opinion, autocratic in which only the leader is allowed to speak or participative in which it is on the discretion of team members whether they want to participate or not. So, a particular leadership style will be choosing by the leader according to the nature of their team members. After this there has to be defining ofall the roles and responsibilitiesthat have to be completed by each team member and there is need of strong management skills in this function (Van Damme,. and Crombez, 2018). The last step is tosolve any issues arising in course of dealingsand then deal with and take regular feedbacks from all the team members about the difficulty they faced and what has been t he major contribution of me as a leader was that helpful or not. While such feedbacks are very important as it will help in understand about some of the areas where i need to work on and improve my present level of skills. Assessment of knowledge and skills based on the wider experience While working and understand my all the skill and present level of knowledge I felt that there are some areas where I am still lacking behind and those need to be developed. So, for this there is requirement of a performance development plan as discussed below- Performance development plan Present levelTime periodPost completion Communication skillsI feel that presently I donotpossesmuch effective There is a time period set that is two weeks In this time period I am going to notice on myoverallwayof

communicationskill that is very important fromcareer perspective. communication that I will bemakingwith others and try to learn techniques by reading booksandwatching someinfluential videos.Post completionwilllead to improvement in the overallwayof communication Presentation skillsIdonotposses enoughself confidencethatis requiredtomake effective presentations A time period of three weeks has been set. There will be need to address large unbar of audience together and workonmy presentation skills by taking help from my tutors and lecturers. Assessment of the leadership qualities required for a placement organisation According to the understanding level and the knowledge that i have gained through my two year MBA course I realised that after a rime period of two years when a student is finally looking for placements(Hoon, Nasaruddin, and Singh, 2017). The placement department of every university and college must posses’ some of the leadership qualities in order to het succeed in their overall mission of providing right placement to the right candidate. Leadership qualitiesthat I feel are very necessary is to have a get amount of theoretical knowledge and a practical experience so that they are able to lead their teams in the best possible manner. There are several different tasks that have to be performed while organising placement for students. So, it becomes important to line up all the activities that have to be completed and
then make different teams in the whole department for performing each different function so that there is no overlapping of work and there is division of task(O'Hare, 2016). At same time in context of leadership skills there has to be effective communication skills, leading heir team, be a good listener, identification of anticipated losses. Apart from this all the leaders should be capable enough to identify their weaknesses and strengths so that a particular culture can be build up that consist of various skill building activities for all the individuals who are part of this department.teh placement department actually sets the career of every student after they havecomplete their degree. Therefore it is very important that there are required amount of leadership qualities that have to be posses by such placement department.
CONCLUSION From the above report it can be said that there are several skills and knowledge that are taught during MBA course but the practical application is very different and it depends on a individual how are they able to practically apply it in a practical situation. So, it is very important to have the ability and creativity to apply such knowledge into practical business situations.
