Q1: Critical reflect on the diversity with the host organisation and stakeholder Richmond Wellbeing Mental health recovery facilitysupports people to grow their confidences and skills that is required to meet the challenges of everyday life. I have analysed that staffs at Richmond wellbeing are committed to develop a safe and comfortable environment for every consumer. The hospital used to provide specific support and treatment to every patient those are facing mental issues from long times. I have determined every communication link which is vital & flexible, recovery and well-being are closely related with cultural concepts. Organization understanding of accounting for diversity deepens on their capacity to recognize better to multiple level of range in the society. But there are negative aspects also for this particular organization as sometime, they face difficulties in dealing with staffs that belongs to different culture for ex., behaviour issues, communication gaps and so on (Ellis and Sheridan, 2014). Stakeholders of Richmond are closely related with the organisation because of wide range of job role offered across the country to the customers. Some of them are, Team leader who is responsible for the management of day to day operation of an individual services which are perform within an organisation, while sometimes they need to deal with additional pressure of handling fresh talent within Richmond wellbeing. I have found that locality manager is held responsibility of handling the people because of the awareness of local areas or society. Because of oversight of number of services, staffs as well as member of Richmond are not able to develop strong relationships with local stakeholders. Q2: Critical reflection on how boundaries are maintained with the host agency In the Richmond Wellbeing, I have found that there are strong boundaries maintained with the patients with another mental patient. Agency think that by creating this particular gap between them, the chances of recovery can be faster. I have analysed that agency and all employees of Richmond Wellbeing work effectively in keeping data regarding the clients and theirfamiliesconfidential.TheyareliableforassessingRichmondWellbeingareasby identifying staffing solutions to fit their changing aims of the business (Richmond Wellbeing, 2017). LSA (Local areas staffing) in the Richmond areas who work together to determine patient needs with managers. It provides all the top local talent to Richmond Welling so that overall profitability as well as mental stress can be released within an organisation. Another important thing that I analysed over there is related with the way people work with the patient or persons. 1
Demonstration of empathy, authenticity, integrity and human kindness is maintaining effectively. It will be helpful in managing and regulating healthy relationships with the individual, families and external communities. I have learned lot of interesting thinks while visiting to Richmond Wellbeing such as coordination among doctors with the patients, support of organisation to their families as well as financial assistance to the poor people. The organisation used to respect and value people difference and consistently seeks to help people to realise all their internal strength as connected with member in the society (Lane, Lacefield-Parachini and Isken, 2013). Q3: Critical reflection on managing professional practices and everyday life During my visit to the Richmond Wellbeing, I have found that a respectful, positive and customer cantered relationship is present with the professional. The manager of Richmond work alongside with the people and employing lending practices within an organisation. Medical and nursing care objectives are associated with the patient’s wishes. All the clinical care to assess as well as control pain and other related symptoms are inter-professional practices for Richmond wellbeing. They used to collaborate with the patient to develop and improve better quality of care to the patient. Another think, I found with the professional practices are associated with the involvement of patient and their family to improve experiences from the patients (Moon, 2013). In Richmond Wellbeing hospital, the nurse can initiate PRN medication and seclude under medical authority. Mental health professional of Richmond Well-being experience individuals who is having licensed or legal rights to provide health related services to the affected people. Richmond Wellbeing services offers a wide range of free and confidential talking therapies and specialist support to assist me feel better. Certain therapy sessions which would be provided in wide variety of ways as depend on condition of the patient is checked on everyday basis. Overall professionalism is being presented in the Richmond wellbeing which will assist patient to deal with all kind of issues or mental problems more accurately. It was great experience that I have gained during the visit in this particular hospital. Q4: Critical reflection on how best to mark the end of my first placement After making proper analysis of the Richmond Wellbeing work, I have collected specific evidences about the working and management of the hospital. According to my perception, I can mark my end placement 7 out of 10. Some of the staffs used to provide formal orientation sessions to the people so that all the essential requirements can be meet out accordingly. By the end of the first day, or after learning session I would know various aspects such as how treatment 2
to the patient has been provided, daily routine of patient as well as doctors within the Richmond Wellbeing hospital (Williams and Lew, 2014). As per the host organisation, all the necessary support which is required to me is being provided effectively. They have helped me to thrive the confidence and skills needed to fulfil the challenges of everyday life. Resolute in company’s mission to work together with people to support recovery and wellbeing accordingly. There is no single path for arranging all necessary sources which will deliver right solution to any given hurdle. Some vital assistance such as accommodation facilities and community services is being provided to the patient. This will help them toward self-empowerment and living well in the society for longer period of time. I really, learned interesting facts those are helpful in increasing my knowledge and understanding toward the Richmond wellbeing. 3
