INTRODUCTION Reflection plays an essential role in nursing sector because through it an individual canpractice and improve its personal as well as professional skills, capabilities and knowledge inorder to provide high quality care to their patients (Bassot, 2015). Through it a person also ableto get huge opportunities which help them in personal as well as professional growth inimpressive manner. The respective reflection report is based on case study of Kim who is aregistered Nurse and she graduated from University of Technology Sydney in year 2018. Reportwill include SWOT analysis for knowing strength, weakness, opportunity and threat, through thisanalysis of situation will be done. Along with this there will be also application of Gibbsreflection model for understanding the situation of case and identifying contribution of skills forbuilding personal resilience and identifying self-care strategies. MAIN BODY Leadership practices which are conducted by health care manager have positive ornegative impact for an organization, patients and provider. But there are various factors whichimpact positively such as knowing of factors which lend to nursing leadership, it is essential toensure upcoming supply of healthcare leaders who can influence result positively for health carepatients as well as provider (Pianpeng and Koraneekij, 2016). Along with this, age is anotherfactors which influence leadership skills because it will help nurses in understanding how to treatparticular age group patients in effective manner so that they can feel comfortable while sharingissues or problems. I will try to deal with this situation in a very calm manner if I am NUM. It isbecause this situation is critical as the service provider is mentally ill. So she needs mentalsupport and care so that her morale could be recovered and training will be provided to her tomake her mentally strong and capable enough to make use of different equipments effectively. Iwill be the NUM, I will make use of different standards of practise. It includes critical thinkingskills and analysing nursing practises, engagement in therapeutic and professional relationships,maintains capability for practises, pre and post evaluation of performance, development of planfor nursing practise, providing employees with safe, appropriate and responsive quality ofnursing practise, motivation, and evaluation of outcomes to inform nursing practise so as to makeimprovement in her performance (Bassot, 2015). So in order to understand the situation, I willsoftly communicate with Kim so that she feels comfortable and tell everything to me, by this
