Introduction
Internship is an integral part of a student’s life. Internship can be defined as the position
of a trainee or, supposedly, a student working in an organization, sometimes without pay, in
order to gain work experience or satisfy the requirements for qualifications (Zopiatis &
Theocharous, 2013). The respective paper is an introspection and analysis of the experience I
derived from my internship program at DNA Destinations North America Company. I had
executed the job of check- in- agent at the DNA Company in my internship program and project.
Apart from the check- in- agent job in the company, I had also worked as a direction provider
who gave direction to the guests towards the customs of the USA. The respective paper provides
with an insight towards the qualitative and quantitative experience I received throughout my
internship.

DNA or Destinations North America Company is an America based company that
provides cruise lines with short excursion activities, ground handling services and port agency

and tourism (hospitality) management, I was fortunate enough to get the golden opportunity to
work at the most up to date and cosmopolitan destination management company of the United
States. Therefore, I utilized the golden opportunity at its very best. The company had used one of
the most unique methods of recruitment and hiring in order to hire tourism management
