Reflection on Leadership in Improving Employee Relationship in an Organisation_1

Leadership refers to ability of a person or individual to create influence over members of
organisation in order to guide their action and behaviour. It helps to make sound decision,
developing vision, creating goals an objectives for team members. Last summer, I joined an
organisation for developing new skills and knowledge, also getting work experience. In this, my
senior managers assigned a new project which was based on improving employee relationship.
There are various conflicts occur in organisation in management and employees which create
negative impact over productivity of organisation and also results in increasing employee
turnover. The conflicts generally occurs due to various factors like cultural, language, employee
mindset and work based clashes (Bonaparte, 2019) In order to overcome of this problem, senior
managers of company assign me a project which aims at improving employees relationship
among organisation.
Leadership style is considered as a major approach which helps a person to manage large
number of workforce. I consider that it is beneficial for the company to increase the leadership
strength and management in order to develop effectiveness in functions and operations. All
major companies in the international and national marketplace should focus on various tools and
techniques that are effective in supporting company's major tasks. I understand that leadership
related functions should be managed by a team leader while considering mindset and needs of
different employees. In my project, I wanted to choose different leadership based approaches
which are beneficial in increasing strength of company. The companies in the international
marketplace should focus on analysing needs of employees in order to evaluate the best business
plan. In my opinion, if an organisation develops effective leadership style and approach, then it is
helpful in increasing competitive strength of company (Green, 2017). Most of the successful
companies in the market, prepare a leadership plan which will include the efforts of a person to
manage employees . Leadership and its functions should be essential to be monitored in an
effective manner for long term business growth. Also in the last stage of leadership strategy
preparation there is a need of proper and systematic manner. Most of the techniques of leadership
development requirement also develops evaluation with the help of professional and skilled

management. Employees of the organisations, should follow all the major instructions which are
given by management for long term development of a business.
Before start this project, I was little nervous as it was my first project and I do not much
about team members. I was also excited about this project as it is a big responsibility for me and
I want to get success for it. In order to start, this project, first I interact with my team members
and ask about their skills and area of interest. It helps to analyse different team members and
their skills, knowledge. It make me able to assign work to team members as per their area of
interest which improve quality of work and also allow them to work with dedication. . All
members of team are excited about this project which is a best thing about this project (Kang,
2019). In order to improve employee relationship, first I need to made various strategies which is
essential for purpose of success of this project. In order to improve employee relationship, it is
important for me to set right tone which helps me to communicate with employees and create
good impression about me in minds of employees. I also decided to take feedback from
employees about work, their superiors and company which helps me to understand where actual
problems existed. The employee relationship can be also improved with the help of
implementation of human relationship theory. The application of human relationship theory is
helpful in increasing harmony between employees which is most crucial for a company. The
implementation of human relationship theory is also helpful in increasing healthy relationship
between employees which increases their productivity. Human relationship theory is adopted by
many successful companies in the global marketplace to enhance the capability of the whole
organisation (MacLeod, 2019).
In the functioning of my organisation where I was held responsible for management of
effective employee relationships between workers. It was essential for me to develop promotion
in the company to develop sustainable internal environment. I promoted effective leadership in
the major functions of the organisation to develop team work. I also motivated employees by
providing them monetary and non-monetary benefits. In order to develop effective functioning of
the business, I also promoted employee relationship by developing positive culture in the
company. I will take help of my seniors and top level management of the company to deliver
best business practices (Lee, 2018). In the development of a culture, it is essential for the
company to take into consideration major need and demand of employees. I will also perform
development of working environment and workplace management in order to get best output
