The grade level/lesson being learnt
In the video, the children are in grade two of education. This can be identified by the age
of Sean who is 8 years old. Children at grade are between age 7 and 8 years. Another reason why
this is grade two is due to the frequent questions asked by students to seek more information.
This cognitive ability develop at grade two. The children can also be seen playing for longer
periods without getting tired. This trait is experienced among grade two children.
Classroom environment
The classroom environment in this case is conducive. The children are very few thus
there is no overcrowding and this makes it easier for both the normal and special education
teacher to attend to the needs of each child well. The class is also equipped with resources that
each child has easy access thus making it easier to understand.
Type of socialization being encouraged
In the video, it is the primary socialization that is being encouraged by the teacher. This is
because the teacher can be seen teaching the children on some values that they should display so
that they can fit within the community. In this case, the teacher is trying as much as possible to
ensure that the normal kids regard Sean as normal. This is because it is not actually good to
discriminate people in the society just because they are physically disabled.
What the special education teacher is doing
In the video, the special education teacher is seen taking care of the disabled child.
Before that, the teacher was also responsible for moving the child around the school with the
help of a wheelchair. The special needs education teacher can also be seen provides further
