Museums are the storehouses of the civilization’s past glory. They hold all the important
artifacts, paintings, architecture and sculptures that reveal important indispensable information
about the history of humankind. The Dallas Museum of Art situated in Dallas, Texas in the
United States, was established in the year 1903 ("Home | Dallas Museum of Art"). Among the
ten largest museums, it is one of largest museum in the United States ("Home | Dallas Museum
of Art"). The Dallas Museum of Art is famous because its dedication to the preservation of the
ancient artifacts and pieces of art and sculpture. This essay is a reflective essay where the
narrator finds similarity between one of the pieces of art within Dallas Museum of Art and the
wide world outside. The aim of this easy is to analyze how an ancient artifact still bears some
resemblance within the contemporary world of today.
During my visit to the Dallas Museum of Art, I came across many new experiences. The
entire building was completely filled with many mesmerizing ancient pieces of artifacts and
sculptures and numerous pieces of world renowned arts. Art belonging to famous artists
belonging to japan, China and Europe were housed in this Museum ("Home | Dallas Museum of
Art"). These pieces of art felt like they had the ability to take the onlooker into a different era
that of belonging to the ancient times. As I walked through the Museum, I felt a sense of
prevailing calmness and tranquility. The inside of the Museum was strikingly different from that
of the outside scenario of the busy world. In the contemporary world of today, everyone is
always in a hurry to get somewhere, to reach their destination on time. However, in the Museum
people took their leisure time going through each piece of artifact carefully and with a look of
extreme reverence.
