REFLECTIVE ESSAYA person faces various situations of serious disagreements or arguments in personal orprofessional life. These conflicts then affect the person itself and the environment around. Hence,it is highly required to manage them effectively so that work can be carried in appropriatemanner (Benner,2016). There exists various resolution theories that can be used for conflictmanagement. There are several reasons that influence the conflicts to take place. They can be thehuman behaviour, mental or emotional well-being, cognition stage, and many more. However,by suitable application of conflict resolution and negotiation skills personal and professionalissues can be resolved. This report covers suitable approaches to resolve two conflicts by makinguse of appropriate conflict resolution theory.MAIN BODYAlong with other skills needed in personal and professional life, it is also required topossess ability to manage the conflicts (Bradley and et. al., 2013, January). These resolutionskills can be developed by applying negotiation or conflict resolution theories. In interpersonalconflicts can arise in any sphere either be from organisation or through personal relationships.There are different conflict resolution theories that can be used to deal with these issues.However, it should be recognised that the selection of these theories is on the basis of behaviourand perception of people (Kim, R2017). In context to my life experiences regarding the presentcase, there are two major issues which I had faced. Further, I have used different tactics to dealwith them. The conflict theory applied on them are based on the harms they were causing withtheir existence. One of them belongs to my personal life and the other one is related to theworkplace. In context to the personal life conflict, I believe that it was more of a subject of harmto the emotion that raised the issue. Interpersonal conflicts and situation always occurs ininteraction when theirs is incompatibility between goals, scarce resources or opposing viewpoints. Interpersonal issues can also discussed verbally or non verbally along a continuumranging from a nearly imperceptible cold shoulder to very obvious blowout. In this, I have alsoanalysed that there are various interpersonal signs of conflict like facial expression, bodylanguage, eye contact and miscommunication between individuals are considered as major signsof conflicts. Further, in personal and professional life, there are many situations have been facedindividuals which has provided major impact productivity of employees within organization.
