1REFLECTIVE ESSAY Introduction The project has been developed by highlighting the charity program against plastic pollution in marine bodies. Being a part of project development team, through this reflective essay, I have tried to share my experience while conducting the project. The purpose of this reflective study is to highlight the contribution of mine towards conducting the IPM project. Discussing the values as well as knowledge which have been collected by me, the events as well as feelings of mine have been shared. Analyzing the entire process of project development, at the end of the reflective essay further improvements have been shared. Discussion Contribution of mine to the team Aim of the project is to raise awareness regarding the charity programs among people. Through this project the project developer aims to raise the fund for charity. Through the project it can be analyzed that that project can play an important role for increasing the awareness among people regarding the wastage. On the other hand in the learning prospective it can be say that the project can be able to highlight the managerial issues which can play an important role for driving competency and teamwork. In the project the group has given the task for planning an event by using the project management skills of individuals. Examining the imagination, leadership and well as team working abilities of individuals, our efficiency as the project planner has been analyzed. Before describing my contribution towards the project, I must say that due to my behavioral characteristics I prefer to manage changes in the workplace. By continuing this, I can say that in order to improve the quality of management activities, I preferred to promote the event in attractive manner so that it can be able to drag the attention of large numbers of

In that case, as a team member, I have identified the project aspects and shared the knowledge with the team members. In order to design the flyer for the raffle, I have appointed a professional designer. Professional designed flyer is being considered as the important part of marketing. Being a part of the event, it is my responsibility to increase the visibility of the project so that its success can be ensured. Through the introduction attractive flyer, I believe, I have made the contribution towards marketing initiatives. Issues identified by me while conducting the project Analyzing the entire project, it has been identified by me that due to some behavioral characteristics, the team members of mine faced the failure in case of implementing the project in an effective manner. Based on the analysis, I can say that due to dominant behavior of the project manager, I found her inappropriate. I also believe that the project manager was not efficient enough for managing the entire event in organized manner. Due to inappropriate managerial abilities, the project manager deal every one unprofessionally, which has created dissatisfaction in the team.It is true that due to lack of motivation, improper leadership management has influenced the project quality. As per my understanding, due to overconfident nature of the project manager, has created negative environment while performing the job. By continuing this it can also be said that through the effective contribution of individuals the capabilities as well as abilities of the team members can be increased, which indirectly impact on theoverallgrowthprocess.Analyzingtheprojectithasbeenidentifiedthatleadership management in proper operational structure and communicational issues are the major barriers which driven the team management as well as individuals engagement towards the project. Analyzing the entire study Due to lack of enthusiastic nature of the project manager as well as unreasonable criticism from the project manager has created negative motivation among the team members. As its result, none of us got the chance for showing out abilities, which has createddemotivatedenvironment in the workplace. While performing my job, it has also be identified by me that lack of communication between the risk manager and team members, it has created the challenging situation in the team for performing efficiently. It cannot be denied that in order to ensure the performance efficiency in a team, it is very important for developing good communication in a team. Based on the effective communicational initiatives, sharing individuals’ opinion and ideas, it becomes easier for the team members to increase their interest towards the project. On the other hand, this skill of a manager can help to develop the emotional bonding with the team members, which can indirectly make the operational process easier. I have analyzed that without leaving any information, the risk manager goes for holiday. In that situation, being a team member, it becomes harder for me to manage my responsibilities. I have also realized that due to cultural gap, I have faced various challenges while communicating with the team members. As per my understanding not only with the risk manager, but also lack of interaction among the team members, the improper culture has brought negative impact on the group performance. As per my understanding improper leadership management is one of the important challenges, which has created barrier for succeeding the project. The project manager, who had been appointed for the project was not efficient enough for managing the team performance. Using this leadership technique, it would have been better for the project manager to analyze the capabilities of team members.
