INTRODUCTIONReflective practice is a process or ability to reflect on one's actions in order to participatein the process of continuous learning. Insight development is the end result of this concept.Basically it involve critical evaluation to the theories and values of an individual which giveshape to its actions (Walvoord, 2010). Reflection is used by individuals as a tool for selfassessment and play and important role in the process of learning. Learning from observation isalso covered under this. Present report is based on the topic reflective assessment of anindividual in which I work in an enterprise as a manager. Description of events which is I seeand hear and what do I think about those events and use of that information for me is all detailedunder this report. TASKS1 Experience and eventsAs a manager in ALDI I execute number of activities in firm from give guidance tomiddle level manages from allocate funds to different departments for complete their activities.Along with this I hear and see number of things daily which give shape to my perception relatewith different areas. Being a manager I hear problems of employees work at lower level and thanI do efforts to to eliminate those issues so they can done or complete their work in minimumamount of time (Schuwirth and van der Vleuten, 2011). Problems which rise on a daily basis arehandle by me in order to increase the effectiveness of production process. Further I hear andhandle the complaints of customers relate with the quality of product and I make deals withsuppliers to purchase good quality raw material wit minimum cost. Things which I do in ALDI as being in a post of manager can be understood by thefollowing points: Implement plans: As a manager I execute business plans in enterprise set by topmanagement. This help in utilise all resources of firm.Make budgets: I identify and evaluate the financial needs of every department working infirm and than I make budgets and allocate funds to their managers so they can executetheir activities as planned. Guide workers: Being a manager it comes my responsibility to conduct training sessionsfor employees in which I guide about the ways which they can use for complete assignjobs. 1
