INTRODUCTION
Self- reflection is a theory of writing and sharing the experience of a person which they
gain at time of any task or activity (Reynolds and Vince, 2017). The current reflection is about
the presentation which was prepared and what was the experience of the person.
MAIN BODY
With the help of the task of presentation making I realised that making a presentation is
not an easy task and it is very difficult and lengthy. During the task of preparing the presentation
I learnt that there is lot of knowledge required to make the presentation more attractive and
presentable. This is majorly because of the fact that there are many different options which can
be used for making the presentation more attractive and good. But I was able to make the
presentation in good manner as I was having good presentation skill which assisted me in
making the presentation in more appropriate manner.
Further with the making of presentation I learnt that in a group there need to be proper
delegation of work. This is majorly because of the fact that there are many people involved in the
presentation and if appropriate work is not delegated to other person then work will not be done
in effective manner. Thus, this incident I learned that delegation of work is very essential and
this is lacking in me. With the continuation of the presentation I learnt that coordination is also
one of the important strategy which will enhance the quality of presentation. This is because of
the fact that the task of whole presentation was divided among a group and for its successful
completion the most important thing was coordination. As if the coordination will not be there
then work would have not compiled on time.
With the help of presentation, I felt that the communication skill in me was not that good
as I was not able to effectively and clearly communicate with other people. This is majorly
because of the reason that what others used to say I was not able to clearly understand it at first.
This also took a lot of time and the time for making the presentation increased (Lippert and
Schmid, 2019). This is underlying the fact that communicating twice or more for same thing
increase the time of making the presentation. With the analysis I also felt that there need to be
proper chain of communication so that every person involved in making presentation must get
each and every little information relating to the presentation and its completion.

In the end I felt that there are some skills which are good in me but there are some areas
where I need development. The area good are I have proper and good knowledge of presentation
skills (Winnicott, 2018). Also, I have proper and advance knowledge of the subject matter on
which the presentation is going to be made. But the areas where I lack is the proper delegation of
authority and effectively communicating with others. Thus, in these two areas I need to work and
develop so that these skills are enhanced in me.
With the help of the whole analysis I learnt that there is high requirement of improving
some skills. For the development of skill of communication, the major step is to develop
effective listening skill because if I will not be able to listen in proper manner then
communication will not take place effectively. Also, another strategy for developing the good
communication skill is to learn the non- verbal communication. This is majorly non- verbal
communication that is body language, facial expression and many other as this make more than
half of the communication.
For the development of the skill of effective delegation it is necessary for me to develop
the understanding of capability of the person (Witjes, Vermeulen and Cramer, 2017). This is
because of the reason that if I will not be able to study that whether the other person is capable to
do that work or not. This will help me in getting the knowledge that the task will be completed
by the person in good and effective manner.
CONCLUSION
In the end it is summarised that self- reflection is the best method of sharing the
experience of the person for any of the task. For sharing the experience, the self- reflection is the
best method as this outlines all the learning of person which they have learnt and the areas in
which they have to develop more. The current reflection outlined that the presentation skill and
knowledge base was good and need not to be developed. But it also discussed that there was
need to develop the delegating and communicating skill.
