INTRODUCTION Reflective journal concern with the self reflection which helps the individual to learn or improve their areas for successful career (Chan, Wong and Luo, 2021). This report carries out the reflection which the learner has developed during working on preparing the presentation. It lays out the Gibbs reflection model to develop understanding. MAIN BODY Reflective journal Before Initiating with the film presentation, I was not sure that I will be able to complete the project, because I was lacking in communication skills which prohibits me to interact with others. But by working with the team mates I develop certain confidence which also helps me to converse with others. Gibbs reflective cycle will be beneficial to develop deep understanding; It is the framework that allows me to examine my experience which is develop during the film presentation project. It also enables me to analyse what things did not go well so that I will proceed to make improvement plan. Description:It involves the description about the task;My task was to complete the individual film presentation, which I found very difficult initially because of my poor interpersonal skills. I chose the social worker role for completing the project, during this I learn about how social worker lay out their work under certain rules and regulations. My biggest fear was to effectively present my work in front of whole class along with the tutor (Tilakaratna and Szenes, 2020). But with the tutor feedback it helps me a lot to know that I was not nervous during delivering the presentation. I gain the confidence which is going well for me to deliver this king of project in future. Feelings:In this exploration stage, I found that major difference in before beginning and ending of the project. I faced problem in arranging the resources also lacking in managing the time, but by working on the project I develop time management skills. With this I was able to deliver my
work on time. While delivering the film presentation tutor told me that if I have used some other data as bright colours so project theme will emerge better. Evaluation:The best thing which I encountered that classmates and tutor appreciated my work, they said during the project I effectively maintain my body language, they didn’t see any loop hole in this, teacher also suggest me to speak louder so that it will be audible to everyone. Analysis:Ithinkthepresentationgoeswellbecauseofmydedicationandprofessors encouragement, I also feel that if I had good skills than it will be easier for me to arranging the resources as fast as possible. With the saved times, I will be able to better represent my work. Conclusion:Overall experience was good, through which I learn many things, playing as social worker was not easy for me as how they help the disable people to pursue their diagnosis and cooperating with them to making their organise lifestyle. Overall I gain confidence to complete such type of presentation project again (Rodham and et.al 2020). Action plan:I need to improve my communication and decision making skill further, so that next time I will not hesitate to deliver my project. For that I will proceed to take part in group discussion for better communication skills, or to write down every alternative for making effectual decision. CONCLUSION Above report illustrated the reflection, which described the experience which the learner had during their presentation project. It also describes the Gibbs reflective cycle.
