In order to transfer information from one person to the large people, the group presentation is very effective tool and technique. Reflective on my group presentation Positive and negative points in my presentation This was my academic group presentation, I have found that it was very challenging for me as this group presentation was given by me for the first time. I think the overall presentation was gone very smoothly and effective. But I have founded some areas at which I need to improve so that I can present better in the future. After giving the group presentation I have taken feedback from every individual. All the listeners have stated that the time which I haven to present my information was very lengthy. Maximum time for the average presentations are 15 to 16 minutes. But my presentation was gone for 20 minutes which is more than average one. This activity should not be there I need to be very good for the time management. I need to manage time in such as way that I cover all information in the average time of presentation. It is very important to manage time so that people do not feel bored from the presentation. Other than that the audience has stated that I was less concise at my speech. This states that I have cover lots of information in my presentation which should not be there. I have cut lot information from the presentation which have reduces the understanding of audience about the subject. With that audience have conveyed that I was speaking very fast most of the time. This have reduces the attraction of people towards me and the information. When it comes to the second section of the presentation, I have used debate cards, this was the best way by which I can involve my audience in the presentation. From these cards, I have make the presentation more interactive so that people do not feel bore and feel that they are also a part of the presentation. In these cards people have written about my strengths and weakness from my group presentation. With that they have also written that I can enhance this 1

activity by asking people that why they have written these comments and how can I enhance my communication and presentation skills. Other than that confidence also plays very significant role in the group presentation. I haveanalysedthatIwasverymuchconfidentwhenIwasdeliveringtheinformation. Confidence creates trust and build good relationship between the communicator and audience. Thus, I have founded that audience was having trust on me and this is the results of my confidence when I was giving the presentation. With that structure of the presentation also pays very important role in attracting people towards presentation and delivery of information. The structure may includes the introduction about the topic, guideline about the presentation that what subjects or aspects it is going to cover, relevant and concise information and at the end conclusion and recommendation. I have followed this structure only and this helps me to attract the audience towards the presentation. With the structure, power point slides should be attractive and have proper order. With that slides should includes some pictures and graphs. I have included all these things in the presentation. It can be said that my presentation was good all over but in some areas I need to be improve my presentation skills. Strategies that can be used to enhance my strength and reduce the weakness The strategies I would like to implement is collecting the relevant and prescribe information about the subject so that I can not exceed the average time of the presentation. Other than I need to focus on my speaking style, I need to be very fast while communicating the information. I will try to give as much as presentation so that I can become more efficient in giving the group presentation. With that I will try to use power point presentation in appropriate manner so that I can make presentation slides more attractive. I had felt that giving presentation inthegrouphaveboostupmyconfidencelevel.Thiswillenhancemyinterpersonal communication skills in the group. 2
