INTRODUCTION
Learning is a part of the human life which can make him to be better in his work, each
and every work provides some learnings and experience to person who is involved. Experience
creates a person better so it is essential for the people to learn more and adopt in his personal life.
This is reflective journal based on the project which is done earlier on the topic of “challenges
and opportunities for International students in Australia”. This reflective journal will provide
observations by earlier project, usefulness of learning process, use of learning process in the
future.
TASK
01. Evaluation of effectiveness and usefulness of learning experience
AS I have done a project on the topic of “Challenges and opportunities for international
students in Australia” so I have analysed that what kind of problems can be faced by the
international students in the country. As well as I have gained the knowledge about opportunities
which global students have in the Australia. Most of the outsiders are having a dream to study in
Australia and settle down there for rest part of the life so it will create a pressure on the economy
of the country (Cavusgil, Rammal. and Rose, 2014). It will create a huge competition in getting
better job and get a success in occupation. So as I am an Australian so it is essential for to work
better in my field which can help to me to get better opportunities in my future. I will adopt these
learning in the betterment of my future, it is essential for a student to be futuristic which can help
to him to draft a better future. So experience which I have gained by this project will help to me
to be aware about my studies and career which can help to me to get better job opportunities.
This experience is having a huge values for me by using this I will create a future strategy to get
better job opportunities.
02. Explanation of ways of usefulness of learnings
These learnings will help full in making my future bright, students which are from
outside of Australia are more determined about their goals as compare to the Aussies students
(Gribble, 2014). The part of opportunities will be help full for me to decide better stream line for
my further studies which can help to me to get enrolled in a better subject or course. By enrolling
in the new subject or course I will be able to get better job opportunities in my future. Most of
the students which comes from the outside are enrolling in a particular engineering and

management related courses. So I will be enrol in a course which is different from these because
other sectors like; medical is also having a huge potentials to provide a better and secured
opportunities to me in my future. So I will use learnings from this in future betterment which is
prior for each and every student. On the basis of these identified challenges for outsiders from
Australia, I can determine my occupation also. I will cater my services to these outsiders students
which can help to me to start my business and earn money by them. So learning will be helpful
for me to determine my future business and profession which finally secure my future.
03. Learning process
As this project is based on the outsider students opportunities and challenges, in the first I
have take reviews of the college students which are really came from different countries e.g.
India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Japan etc. I have asked to them about their problems which they are
facing in the survival in the Australia. It helped me to gather informations on real facts, I have
used informal communication to get more realistic information by them. Most of the students
which are non English speaking countries are facing a lot communicational problems (Gomes,
Alzougool. and Chang, 2014). Also I have conducted a lot of online research to collect reviews
and informations of outsiders. Most of the people which comes from South Asian zone has said
that they are feeling pleased by studying here and they will be able to get better job opportunities
in the future. Australia is an emerging economy and it has a huge options to develop career of a
student (International students in Australia struggle on many fronts. 2016). After China,
Australia comes on second position in the games which shows that the country is determined to
be successful in their work. I have seen some videos on YouTube in which different views are
provided by news channels for the outsider students living in Australia.
04. Evaluation of learnings
It is prior to determine those things which are impacting on the particular subject e.g.
outsiders are creating a huge impact on the developing opportunities in the Australia. So it is
essential to use an effective thought to overcome on the outsiders which can help to me to get
better job opportunities. I have learned by this business research that outsiders are determined to
bear difficulties to get better job opportunities. So I also have to be more strong as compare to
outsiders which can support to me to get better job opportunity in my future. I am using my
futuristic think in determining my future goals which is must. On the basis of opportunities I will
make a better decisions regarding to job and occupation. This business research will be help full

in my learning process by analysing different terms and aspects which are related to me. Also it
will support to me to change my perspective regarding to my career planning. Ait will also help
to me to connect things with real life which can support to make essential changes in the future
planning. Each and every act in the life provides a learning to person but it depends on him that
he adopts or not. By using this business research I have gained many things which I will surely
adopt in the betterment of my future.
05. Explanation of learnings
Most of the people which comes from an outside from the nation is having many
difficulties to live in new environment and culture. Outsiders are having a need of time to adopt
new surroundings. It is essential for the Aussies to provide a better environment to students
which come from different nations which can help to them to be adjust in the country
(Choudaha. and de Wit, 2014). I personally felt that food, accommodation and culture is having a
huge impact on the outsiders so it is essential for the locals to treat better with them which can
help to them to adopt culture and surroundings of the country. They are leaving very far from
their families so nearby people has to provide a familiar treatment with them. I have done this
business research because in recent times many issues are arisen related racism with external
students so I have done this research to find out the possible reasons behind it. Different authors
are having a distinct views on this topic which are provided in to the literature review part. I have
done this activity to analyse the possible problems of the externals livings in the Australia and
how it can be related to me, and my future.
06. Application of learnings in personal life
As I have analysed challenges and opportunities for the outsiders in the Australia, it
helped to me to gather informations about the possibilities where I can make changes in adopting
a better career for my future. As I have analysed that external students are having a much
determination towards work and to get better opportunities so it will provide me a learning to
work hard in getting better business and job possibility in my future. Many of the students are
having a huge need of care regarding to selecting a better career option. Learning from this
research can help me in my future because it can help to me to get better job opportunities and
how much I have to be developed to face a tough competition with the external students.
Determination is a factor which works the most in the betterment of future which I have learned
by this project because most of the outsider students are having a lot of problems and challenges

while living here in Australia but they are de-terminated to get some thing better in their life
which they can not get in living in their own country.
CONCLUSION
On the basis of the above report it can be concluded that learnings are prior thing for a
person and adopt to these learning in his own life. Above presented report is a reflection on the
business research which has provided the outcomes, learnings and experience for me and how
will is used these in my personal life. Outsiders from Australia are determined to get better
education and job opportunities while living in this country so it is essential for Aussies students
to work better which can help to them to be better from external students.
