INTRODUCTION
Reflection refers to the self evaluation from past experience in order to determine the
strengths and weaknesses. Reflective learning refers to the process of examine strengths as well
as exploring areas for improvement in order to develop critical thinking skills. It is a form of
education in that learners reflects on their personal learning experiences (Siegel and
Krummenauer-Grasser, 2022). It helps a student to improve their skills and knowledge by
reducing their mistakes and enhance their strengths. It also enable a learner to develop their skills
related to various concepts for their higher studies. By using Gibbs reflective model a learner can
know about their skills, feeling and make plan for future development. By receiving feedbacks
and feedforwards on their performance by teachers they can improve their productive to conduct
formative and summative assessment effectively.
This project covers the importance of a reflective approach to learning with in
management discipline. Further it covers an ability to use feedback and feedforward as an
integral to inform along with improve future formative as well as summative assessed work.
MAIN BODY
Reflection plays an important role in a student life as it helps them to develop their
understanding and enhance their self awareness. It also motivates them to increase their efforts
and engagement in project as well as work processes. By using Gibbs reflective model a person
can conduct their self reflection effectively. It is introduced in 1988 by Graham Gibbs in order
provide clear structure to learning from past experience. It has six stages which allow me to learn
and plan from learning process. The first stage is description, in which I define my experience
while learning process of management (Parker-Eames, 2018). I participated and joined a institute
in order to gain skills and knowledge related to management to get better job opportunities in
future. At initial stage of this process, I was quite nervous and not confident to understand skills
and familiar with people and environment. It a a course which has various topics related to
business such as culture, management polices, structure, theory, principles and many more.
The second stage is feeling, it is related to the thoughts and feeling of a person while
completing their course and learning process. I was low, demotivated and nervousness during the
staring of course as I did not know much about how I adjust in new environment and develop my
understand about various management topics. There are also various people who came from
