INTRODUCTION
For the current purpose of this essay, Gibbs reflective learning cycle will be utilized
for reflecting on the aspect of individual professional practice and contribution towards a
group-based consultancy project which necessitates development in preparation for my role
as an accountability coach. Seeking help from the Gibbs reflective learning cycle motivates a
clear description of a situation, evaluation of the feelings, analysis of the experience for
making sense of the experience for examining the things to be undertaken if the same
conditions occur again (Gibbs, 1988).

Whilst working on this module I came to know about the fact that accountability
coach plays a very important role in each and every individual as they help in assisting clients
in crossing the problems being encountered by them and climbing the high hills along with
attaining the desired results that was not possible earlier for them. Throughout the module, I
was made to learn about the ways of knowing individual talent as well as capabilities as a
worker prior helping the clients in attaining their objectives. In addition to this, I have also
learned that accountability coach performs varied types of function such as career coach,
relationship coach, parent and family coach, health and fitness coach. Earlier, I knew that
accountability coach only assists the clients and people in solving their problems and listen to
them actively. However, with this consultancy project and module I got the chance to serve
as a sounding board for novel, bold concepts, for example innovative personal statement
which the client is undecided about. The overall module and consultancy project was an
exciting journey for me, since I have experimented a lot many things while working in a team
and together achieving the main goals.
. Overall, I think that I am feeling quite confident as this module has supported me in
gaining extra-knowledge in regards with offering honest opinions about the clients. I learned
to the manners in which the accountability coach aware the clients about their flaws and
inadequacies and bringing them up several times for rendering them support in making
improvement in themselves. Furthermore, at times when the module lecturer is giving out
assignments and group tasks to us, I was very anxious as a lot of things I was required to do.
Nevertheless, at the same time, I was very happy as I finally can make use of the knowledge
and understanding I have acquired from this module in my future professional development
and career plan objectives. In addition to this, each and every section of the module being

time of giving solutions to the clients and actively listening to their problems and issues
(Bradley, 2013). Moving further, I have different good and bad experiences across this
module and consultancy project. One of the most optimistic things about this project is that I
started to communicate effectively with others such as business clients and lecturers
whenever I require their support in the learning process. In addition to this, I have also gained
acquittance of making action plans for developing the present condition and have set
objectives for advancement of career. However, many a times I faced difficulty in
communicating my viewpoints to my clients, nonetheless I made up my mind and
communicate and conversed with the client politely and the result has not disappointed me. In
regards with the module learning, I have some bad experience as well. Many times, it
happened that I didn’t feel like attending the lectures as they were unable to entice my
interest. I was not able to bring up my will towards studying and learning. I take this as my

career, I have learned numerous things in relation with the accountability coach. On my way
to the accountability coach, I was approached by a business client Mr. Sam who resides in
UK, who asked me to assist him with problems and issues being encountered by him related
to the job search. I decided to support him as I thought this was the main priority for me as I
could look up as an accountability coach in my future career option and will also support me
in my own learning as well as development. After that, I supported Sam and guided him
about the clear professional objectives and offered hum unbiased advice for individual job
search (Le Cornu, 2019). Based on the learning from the module, I have also offered Sam a
new viewpoint and admittance to an assortment of tools as well as strategies which can
support him in evaluating the condition and setting professional objectives. I helped my
business client Sam in making his job search effectively by first making him comfortable. In
my opinion this is the most important thing I have learned throughout this module that the
main role of the accountability coach is to make the client feel comfortable so that he or she
can share their life issues and problem with them and discuss them adequately so that
effective solutions can be proposed.
Further, I also assisted Sam in meeting out their issues. With this module I go to know
as an accountability coach I am obligatory to extend support to the clients through listening to
