Reflective Presentation

This reflection provides the idea about the most important learning experiences that I developed during doing the task A1 academic essay. In writing this academic project the study skills classes have helped me a lot to structure, frame and properly present all the raw data. While writing this essay I was also able to gain comprehensive knowledge regarding the education culture of both UK and India and learn how to make a critical comparative analysis also. I was also able to understand what I should be doing differently from the next time onwards while writing an academic project.

INTRODUCTION
 This reflection will clear state how the
essay in task A1 was structured.
 In this context my experience of
developing and academic essay will also
be self evaluated
 In this context deserves mention that
attending the study skills sessions helped
me a lot to complete this assignment
 The stages of writing have been clearly
stated out in the lecture notes and they
helped me a lot in framing my academic
essay.

EXPERIENCE OF UNDERTAKING
THE ACADEMIC ESSAY
 When I was provided with the essay topic I started jotting
staff in a form of outline as ideas ran through my mind.
 However, when I got the necessary ideas about outlining my
academic essay I started to streamline my ideas with that
framework and the task of writing the academic essay got
momentum.
 This experience of writing an essay comparing the education
culture of UK and India is of special significance for me.
 This is firstly because, as I have highlighted in the essay
Indians really do have high esteem of studying in the UK
based colleges.
 Never the less I was also a member of that group. However,
analysing the factors highlighted by Devlin (2016), I can
reflect that I always had critical mind to perceive the
limitations of education system of my home country.

ALTERATIONS OF UNDERSTANDING
BY ATTENDING STUDY SKILLS
CLASSES
 In the study skills classes I got detailed idea
about how to structure an academic essay.
 Even I also learn how to put in the raw
research data to fit into the structure
provided.
 Most importantly, I learnt how to make a
comparative study between the education
systems of both countries in the study skills
sessions (Chokwe 2015).
 In fact, the reference link that was provided
also helps me to frame my essay.

ALTERATIONS OF UNDERSTANDING
BY RECEIVING A REVIEWS AND
FEEDBACK FROM MODULE TUTOR
 The reviews from peers that I received also
helped me a lot to write this academic essay.
 It helped me to frame the essay using the
questions that have been set by the module
tutor and use those answers to
comprehensively frame my essay (Noroozi,
Biemans and Mulder 2016).
 the peer review also help me to write the
introduction and conclusion part of the same
by highlighting how I need to sum up the
main points for writing the essay's summary
and introduction part.

REFLECTIONS ON THE PROCESS OF
COMPARING THE EDUCATIONAL
CULTURE OF INDIA AND UK
 Personally, I feel that I have made a well
researched and analysed comparative study
between the educational culture of UK and
India.
 Also I have been studying in a university of UK,
I did have very less idea about the way in
which the education and culture of the country
is structure from primary to university level
education
 However while analysing education and culture
of UK; I could automatically understand the
loopholes of the education system of my
country.

CREATION OF ACTION PLAN
 From next time onwards I will start writing my
assignment much earlier.
 This time, I had invested its time in
researching.
 One of the areas of weakness that I have
identified while writing the essay this time was
that I am not able to comprehensively
streamline my research data to develop an
argumentative study (Wingate 2015).
 From the next time onwards I will be investing
more time on researching how to develop
critical argument regarding the issue of debate
that is critical to the essay.

 However, after receiving the direction
from my peers, I was able to make the
comparative study successfully.
 My peers also help me to write the
thesis statement for the essay, properly.

CONCLUSION
 This reflection provides the idea about the most
