Introduction
This particular study aims to reflect own view regarding certain aspects. The study provides a
brief knowledge regarding the water mining aspects in the Tweed valley. Then the study also
discusses that engineering management of Gold Coast City Council. After that, this particular
study provides an elongated stakeholder analysis of the new public hospital in the Tweed area.
Lastly, the study discusses the core concept of Adani coal mine case study, which also helps to
attain the aim of this project.
Water Mining Tweed Valley
Tweed River is situated in the New South Wales of Australia. For instance, it can be asserted that
this river is located between the state boundaries between Queensland and New South Wales.
Apart from this, water mainly used for agriculture to harvest crops efficiently. With the help of
sufficient water, farmers can be able to continue their harvesting activities properly. Water is
mainly accumulated from three different sources to successfully run the agricultural function.
Water which helps to make the soil moist is called green water, whereas, renewable groundwater
is also known as blue water and non-renewable groundwater is known as fossil water (Raju and
et al., 2016). According to my perception, in irrigated agriculture, water is mainly used in order
to improve the overall production level. Extraction of water from renewable groundwater sources
is known as water mining. Moreover, with the help of water mining facilities, I think the
government of Australia will be able to provide water in a varied and structural way with
effective distribution. In relation to this, Australia can improve its agricultural structure. I think

water mining is an important tool for irrigated agriculture and due to the reason of water mining,
the Valley of Tweed River became enrich with the fertile value of soil, which helps to improve
the productivity of crops. It will also help to meet the daily demand of food efficiently. On the
other hand, it can be asserted that mining water also used for extraction of vital minerals, which
may be in the sold form (Bustamante and et al., 2016). From the aforementioned discussion, I
can understand the government of Australia should extract water from the Tweed River for
supplying water to the different geographic location of Australia to improve the agricultural
function. Moreover, the mining water must be utilized by the government of Australia for
extracting minerals from sources, which helps to address the risks of minerals extractions.
Gold Coast City Council from an Engineering Management Perspective
City of Gold Coast engineers is responsible for ensuring the infrastructure of projects. Moreover,
the engineers are also responsible for manage the project in order to complete the project within
the specified timeframe. As per my understanding, it can be asserted that the engineers of the
City of Gold Coast mainly involved themselves in several types of projects such as road and
building design, transportation, geotechnical investigation and design, beach and foreshore
design and others to improve the infrastructure of the city. On the other hand, I can understand
that the top level management of engineering department is also responsible for motivating their
subordinates to improve individual’s performance that will also help this department to meet
their desired goals within a specific time. In order to run the work properly, it is one of the prime
responsibilities of the higher authorities of engineering department of Gold Coast City Council to
allocate the right amount of resources to each and every team to complete the assigned task
within a particular time (Muurmans, Leahy and Richards, 2016). Recently, Australia has faced
