Reflective report
What you have learned in relation to healthy aging. Explain how you would modify your
lifestyle now to ensure good health and an active, independent lifestyle when you are 75
years of age. I gained my understanding of healthy aging that could be effective to making a
healthier life. Healthy aging could be determined as the procedure of developing and keeping
the functional capability that facilitates wellbeing with respect to age. I also gained my
knowledge about healthy aging that facilitates individuals to be and do what they have cause
to value World (health organization, 2019). It includes the capability to meet their basic
requirements to study, grow, and make the decision for building an effective relationship. It is
vital to keep a healthy lifestyle to be physically active by exercising on a regular basis
(Rogers & Pilgrim, 2014).
It is effective for increasing the understanding of healthy aging. I observed that there are
many factors that might be caused by healthy aging at the age of 75 exercises, good diet,
stress-free life, and happy life. It is effective to promote healthy aging to enhance holistic
wellness and life expectancy. I improved my knowledge about different factors that might
impact on the healthy well-being like physical comfort, social integration, contribution,
security, autonomy, and enjoyment (de Frias & Whyne, 2015).
Moreover, I gained my understanding of eating healthy diets that could consider fresh fruits,
vegetables, protein, meat, poultry, and fish. In addition, it is examined that regular exercise
could make feel fresh to the individual, as it will also support to make healthy and happy
lifestyle. In Austral, there are many communities that provide facility for the old age people
for making healthy lifestyle (Chatterji, Byles, Cutler, Seeman, & Verdes, 2015). I also gained
my understanding of Golden Oldies, Townsville Seniors Swim Club, Aquatic Centre, and Tai
Chi for Over 50s. I understood that these scheme will help to encourage to an individual for
being happy in the age group of 75.
