INTRODUCTION
In the today time, there are very huge competition in the market. All firms are required to
gain effective outcomes and success from the market that is why they try to establish such
effective strategy and business planning by which they can able to compete with rival and
develop their own effective brand image in the market. In order to get effective success in the
business environment, employee required to develop their own skills, ability, knowledge and
traits about the business. The aims and objective of reflective report is to evaluate own skills and
also developed potential skills through Tesco Challenge, CIMA and T-shirt Challenge. The
student develop their own skill, ability and knowledge about the business has been systematically
addressed the following report, how an employee gained the different kind of knowledge, skill
and ability about the business ha been also addressed.
Reflective Report
T-shirt Challenge:- I had participated in the 2017 T-shirt contest in that there was a
KCCC board Directors invited to look at the T-shirt. They were selected a best T-shirt design
which is submitted by students. The T-shirt challenge gives me and all other member to work
together as a team. I am very excited to design a T-shirt so, that it attracted all judges for this I
started to gave all my views toward members. I had been started with the designing T-shirt on
paper by using my own creativity skills. Thus, also put more efforts but at the end the design it
was successfully made at the end. Thereafter, choose a colour combination that was blue with
dark navy blue colour. The T-shirt made by me for children so, I choose image on it that
influence customers to purchase. Branding is one of the major activity by which company can
introduce its product and services in the market(Lueth,D’Angelo and Czabke, 2010). The one
most challenge for me was to introduce the T-shirt front of judges. For this purpose, I had used
my effective presentation, communication and promotional skill that able me to introduce the T-
shirt in the market. In addition to this presentation is another major challenge for me in which I
needed to used my business knowledge, ability, skill and capability. In the operational
department, I required various effective business, knowledge, skill and ability so as I could fulfil
the business need and accomplished the task in the company. In order to fulfilled my roles and
responsibility it needed to faced the challenge of presentation. In the operation department, I
required to use my presentation skill so as I could able to present T-shirt. From the entire

working experience in the T-shirt contest and also faced the various challenges. I had been learnt
various skills and ability from this working experience. From this I could able to learnt
communication skill during the presentation challenge. The message was successfully delivered
in front of the customer and in the challenge my communication skill has been improved. In
addition to this, in the context of T-shirt task, I have analysed the business competition in the
market and done the market research. By this activity, my academic and business skill ha been
also improved. From this entire working experience, I have learnt various kinds of skills like
communication presentation, competition, team working, academic and business skill etc.
Thereafter, at the end of the contest the result was announced by judges in which I won the T-
shirt contest successfully.
CIMA Challenges:- I am undergraduate students of ABC university in that the college
gave me an opportunity to participated at the CIMA global business challenges. It is that type of
challenges under which it gave me an opportunity to interacted with the number business
students all over the world. It was really surprised as well as excited to visit there for me. Thus,
when I reached at CIMA competition it gave me an opportunity to meet with the business
students that were comes around the world. The challenges started by dividing the participants
into a team under which each team had professional advisor(Brabham, 2010). Thus, I was started
to work as a team that were categorised into four come together for the purpose of presented a
business case study. The professionals joined with us to provided their knowledge and
experienced regards to business. From this, I had been effectively able to obtained a presentation
skills, teamwork skills and leadership skills. I also able to developed my own career and CV
skills. The various tips, advice and techniques which were acquired form CIMA professionals
and Global decisions made. It would not only enhance my skills but it also gives me an
opportunity to understand how to grow business at global levels by make connection with global
network and also made decision from the top level employers (Hagel,2015). Beside this, the
another benefits from this is that I had effectively improves knowledge and also skills that were
required to drive business success. The benefits from the CIMA is that it gives me an opportunity
to successfully brings out design of products or services. Furthermore, I had been learnt several
areas of finance that helps me a lot to fixing the prices of Company's products. It could be only
set price of product as per the expenses that are incurred at the time of manufacturing and selling.
Thereafter, also considered all rules and regulation by keep in mind that are formulated by

government of a country. I am very thankful to those experts that me a lot who gave me a proper
guidance how to managed business. At the time of work as a team I realized that I had a team
working skills that assist me to prepared a video. The another CIMA challenge was that to
present the oral presentation in front of judges at the final round. I was participated in question
and answer session at the ending of presentation in front of judges. The final outcomes were
announced at international level that our team won the competition. At that time I feel really
confident and proud my self as well as thankful to my all experts who contributed their efforts.
Also, appreciate my college who gave me wonderful opportunity to participated in the
internation global business challenges.
Presentation Challenge:- The college gave me an opportunity to presented in front of
audience to provided an information in front of audience. In that presentation challenge I took a
case a Tesco Case study for which I was obtained information regards to my subject topic. For
this, I was used analytical skills to created a picture, images and add graphics in power point
presentation. Thus, at the time of gathered data from the online website of a Tesco Company I
could able to enhanced knowledge regards to business. The most important challenge that was
faced at the time of presented towards audience was that to gave answer for its questions. The
knowledge I gain from the material available about Tesco Company helps me a lot to gave
answer of each question of my audience. Further, the most strengthen skills I have is
communication skills that able me delivered information through presentation in successful
manner. From this, I had been learnt several things through the business knowledge that were
provided to me by experts while preparing presentation. The communication, academic and time
management has been also enhanced effectively and efficiently. The information that deliver by
me was that the tesco is one of the most famous retail outlet in the UK which deal with the
customer commodities. Its main aim is to offers the high quality of customer product and
services in the market and attracted the large numbers of customer. In the operational working in
the Tesco , i have developed the team of various subordinates (Taticchi, Balachandran and
Tonelli, 2012). By this activity, my team working, coordination and supporting skill has been
also developed. Thus, it can be said that my job experiences ha very great experience in my life
which aid me in improving my personal a well professionalism. I have developed my personality
and professionalism, by done in the job in the Tesco company. I have gained various business
skill and academic knowledge about the business, strategy, planning, business system , etc. In the

above experience, it really helps me in developing my existing knowledge, skill and ability about
the business. In the above working experience, I have faced various kind of challenges but I have
learnt various kind of new skill and personality by these challenges. These challenges have learnt
and taught me in effective manner as I have gained the various new knowledge. Skill and ability
about the business and how the organisation needs to run in the market.

Action plan
Personal development plan is that plan that helps me to improves my skills that hinder me
to perform several activities within the Tesco Company. From the above there is a discussion on
the various challenges that are Presentation, T-shirt and CIMA challenge. Thus, being an
employer I needed to focus on the several business angel that are branding, finance and
operations. From this, I attend online activities through I able to understand how to present in
front of audience. It assists me a lot to face the presentation challenges under which I deliver
information in front of audience that able them to understand effectively. From this I learnt how
to present message in front of people. Thereafter, I realized that there is a needed to develop the
academic skills that helps me to improve how to enhance essay writing skills. Thus, there is other
challenges that are T-shirt and CIMA under which I able to understand there is a weakness of
business skills. It has been analysed at the time when I had to faced global business challenges in
which there is a great opportunity given to me to connect with the pioneers and employers over
all the world.

From the above personal development plan is prepared above that helps me a lot in which
I attend each and every session and programs that are made in action plan. The above
presentation challenges can be improves effectively through e-learning academic author. It leads
me to effectively promote the T-shirt of Tesco Company in front of others people so, they attract
towards it. It can be only possible for me when I had attended all the action that were made PDP

plan. Further, there another business skills can be improves effectively by successfully attend
training and development programs. Thus, I am also adopting business models that gives me an
opportunity to effectively improves my business skills. It able to be to effectively able me to face
the CIMA global business challenges.
