INTRODUCTION
Punjab – The land of five rivers is selected as the topic of my blog, the reason for
selecting this topic is my interest in tourist attraction towards Punjab a state in India. The blog
describes the tourist viewpoint for Punjab, what are the main tourist attraction in the state. The
blog post briefly discussed culture and tradition followed by people living in Punjab including
the origin of Sikhism. Sikhism is a major religion in India, which is followed by major
population living in Punjab. The Blog is designed and created with all the important information
related to Punjab for attracting online users and increasing the websites visits or traffic. The
Blog also included attractive images which are very effective in attracting the users to stop and
have a look on the blog posts. I have a good understanding and knowledge about Punjab so it
motivated to write this particular blog.
Promotional plan and Justification for the keywords
I need to develop huge traffic of online users on my blog post which encouraged me to use
various promotional strategies for the same. There are various promotional plans which I
implemented in order to promote my blog on internet these plans are as described below -
Collaborating with the influencers – This strategy is used by most of the companies, the
influencers have effective advantage over various other advertising types. An influencer
has a huge community or followers behind him as well as has a lot of connections.
Therefore, I planned to work with an online influencer who can easily bring traffic to my
blog(Chaumba, 2015).
Establishment of social media presence – Social media presence is important for each
and every business or thing that needs attraction of the people to be successful. I
identified that there is a great need of social media presence in order promote my blog.
Therefore, I used various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and Linkedin
to share my blog to a larger audience easily. This helped in promoting my blog to many
individuals or online users. I created random accounts on Facebook, Twitter and
Linkedin which helped me in sharing my blog to various online users.
Stimulate sharing – For increasing the traffic on my blog I developed another plan to
motivate people for sharing my content or blog to others. I also developed plans such as
offering prizes etc to the user who shares my blog(Rourke and Lewer-Fletcher,2015).

are major tourist attraction in the state such as Jallianwala Bagh, Moti Bagh, Rock garden etc
which makes in attractive for the tourists and therefore I chose tourists attraction as a keyword
in the blog. Culture and tradition is also used by me in the blog due to the impressive and unique
cultural values that the people follow in Punjab.
Tools used to increase ranking in search engines
There are various free and easy SEO which I used in order to increase ranking in search
engines such as Google Page-speed insights, Moz Local Listing store, Google Analytic etc.
These SEO tools helped me to enhance the visibility of my Blog and increase the traffic of
online users effectively.
Data analysis
In order to analyze the audience or online traffic on my blog I used Google analytics tool which
helps in collecting relevant analytical data or information related to the visitors on the website,
bounce rate, etc which helps in analyzing the popularity of the content or website among the
people. Along with the Google analytics I also used social media platform to identify the
effectiveness and popularity of my Blog such as Facebook. I shared link of the blog ion my
Facebook account to let my contacts see it and visit the website in order to read my content and
share it further among their friends and family. The Google analytics provided important data
and figures of the visitors on my blog, it helped me in knowing that people from other countries

Lack of confidence – The common issue faced by all the writers like me is the lack in
confidence. I had a fear that my blog will not attract more people, It was a demotivating
factor which was challenging me a lot. In order to develop confidence I shared my ideas
with friends and family who really motivated me to write this blog.
Time to write the blog – The another challenge which I faced in writing this blog, due to
a busy schedule or time table I was not able to give proper time in writing the blog.
Therefore, it was a challenge to focus on writing this blog with minimum time in a one
day.
