INTRODUCTION
In this report, a personal perspective has been been presented on the importance of
organisational behaviour and the importance of carefully assessing the behaviour of various
personalities that individuals possess while working in an organization. The implication of
organisational behaviour in Cadbury company and the various aspects that are covered in the
report preparation have been discussed (Osland, Devine and Turner, 2015).
MAIN BODY
I have formulated the above report about organizational behaviour in Cadbury Company
and it emphasize upon how the various cultural shifts in the work environment impact the
working abilities and what were my personal experiences during the report preparation and how
easily I was able to complete the task successfully. I can do this in an effective manner by using
Gibbs' Reflective Model so that I would be able to describe my experiences at each stage of
report making in a better and a clearer way (Vasu, Stewart and Garson, 2017).
Gibbs' Reflective Cycle :- It is six step evaluation process which helps an individual in better
analysis and documentation of what they felt and what were their experiences in a better way. At
each stage, an individual questions themselves and try to derive a meaningful synopsis of what
they felt during a particular situation. This will help in developing conclusion about how an
individual should react while facing a similar situation in future (Gibbs' reflective cycle, 2017).
Description – This is the first stage where I raise a question to myself regarding what was the
situation in a detailed manner. The major issue that I faced during preparation of my report was
identifying the different theories that were applicable in the Cadbury company. The major
obstacle was identifying and describing the appropriate theory related to the motivational level in
the company. These problems that arose while preparing the report was a critical problem that I
faced and after much analysis and deliberation; through conducting sufficient research process, I
was able to identify that there are two different kinds of theories i.e. Maslow's motivational
theory under Content Theory and Vroom's Expectancy Theory under Process Theory and that
were applicable in the Cadbury company. This was a very time consuming process where my
resources were utilized unnecessarily and my report could have been completed much quicker
had I not faced this obstacle. The ambiguity during the report preparation was also very high and
there were many things which I was not clear about and this led to many trials where I rewrote
the report before submitting the final report and meeting the deadline allotted.

Feelings :- This is the second stage where I am supposed to express what I felt when I was in
that situation. At initial level, there was a rising frustration level when I was preparing report and
things were extremely confusing. There were so many content and data available that it became
difficult for me to segregate the relevant data from the irrelevant one and I was becoming angry.
I began to feel demotivated and almost thought of giving up the project report and drop it.
However, my classmate suggested to me that I should consult my teacher regarding the
difficulties that I was facing and he really helped me by providing a guide light to me regrading
what should my steps and actions be. I now th8ink that I should have consulted him much earlier
regarding the problems that I was facing and asked for his direction at every point so that I could
have completed the report in a much better way. However, I am satisfied with the part that
instead of quitting I decided to fight the problem and not just succumb under it. Also, the speed
with which I caught up was good enough according to me and helped me in getting back on the
track in a timely manner so that not much was lost.
Evaluation :- In this stage, I evaluate and analyse regarding which of the measure that I adopted
work and which ones failed. Also, I am supposed to describe what went bad during my task
completion and what was good. Further, I have to describe the contributors in my project report
ad how they helped me. Those things which I think assisted me in the project were my ability to
quickly grasp the things and formulate them into meaningful and relevant data which would help
me in conducting my research. Further, the immense knowledge that I gained regarding different
motivation theories and other aspect related to an organisations' behaviour and culture will
definitely help me at present and in the future when I plan to pursue my studies further. The
things that were negative while conducting this research were my negative attitude tat almost
made me give up the project. This showed me that I am not very adept in dealing with bad or
negative situations and I can be demotivated very easily. This report helped me in working upon
this aspect and improving myself.
Analysis :- At this stage, I have to emphasize upon what was the output of the situation that I
went through i.e. I am encouraged to focus m,ore on the finer details that occurred during the
task of report completion. Here I analyse whether all the experiences that I had went well or not
and how can in interpret my actions and steps that I took in that particular situation at various
stages of preparing the report. First of all I think that the difficulties that I faced at initial level
were the only things that I can account for as negative experiences. This was the only time when

I felt negative about this entire project and the report preparation. Apart form that, during the
entire process I learned a lot of things and since I have always been interested in learning about
the various aspects of working an organisation and the various factors related to it, the report was
as per my area of interest. Hence, this helped me in enjoying my work. Only the determination of
the various motivation theories applicable in the Cadbury Company was a problematic area for
me. The only contributor in my report was my teacher who acted as m philosopher and helped
me in preparing this report satisfactorily meeting the criteria required.
Conclusions :- At this stage, I give a detailed information regarding the conclusions and
learnings that I was able to withdraw form conducting this research by preparing report. The
major learnings that I formed were that instead of thinking negatively, I should always take the
obstacles that I face in a positive manner and try to understand them. The second most important
learning was that a guide or teacher is always there for you whose guidance an knowledge you
can use to make your work easier. If I had realised this sooner, I would have completed my
report in a much more effective way and sooner. Lastly, I also learned that every task is difficult
and requires its own kind of expertise and knowledge. Completing this report taught me that its
preparation is not that easy and to complete in the required way you need to have an in depth
knowledge of all the questions that have ben naked in the report and the area or field to which it
is related.
Action Plan :- Action plan refers to the plan that I would implement if I am faced with similar
challenges in the future I.e. if I experience the same obstacles. This will help me in forming and
developing the skills that I require for meeting this problems in future. I have realised that even if
you plan the sequence of the activities that you should follow, the deviations always arise.
Therefore, a plan B should be formulated so that another course of action can be take in case of
any failure. Further, I developed better analytical skills traits that I could have utilized in better
formulation of the theories that Cadbury company uses. Also, the next time I would not just give
up and use the knowledge of my guide and philosopher so that I can formulate better policies
and complete the task assigned to me in a much easier and simpler way. Lastly, I think that the
most important learning was to trust my instinct and go forward when I feel a particular course
of action is right for completion of my task.
Therefore, Gibbs model assists in the above manner in determining the feelings that were
experienced (Novikov, 2016).
