INTRODUCTION A person has always required many skills and competencies’ in its personal life to properly deal with different challenges. A hotel challenge has been discussed below. There are some major skills or abilities also has mentioned below which was demonstrated during this challenges. MAIN BODY Hotel Challenge Recently I have participated in a teamwork where whole team got a task to prepare a specific budget for January to April to a hotel named Davis. Of course, preparing a budget plan Is not a simple task, because there are appropriate knowledge of finance, accounting and branding is highly required (Greenan, 2016). Most member within my team was able to make that budget plan easily, because on hat time we don’t have proper knowledge about how to make an appropriate budget for a hotel. That was really big challenge to all of us, in which finally we were decided to properly deal with existing hotel challenge. On that time, me and colleagues was started to know own efficiency, skills and knowledge, because this was the only ways to all of use systematically dealing with that hotel challenge. Some major skills have been discussed below which I demonstrated while facing that hotel challenge. These skills were really supported me for properly dealing with hotel challenge. Skills Communication Skills/Emotional Intelligence This is the first skill which I used while facing hotel challenge. For example; I was properly communicated with my colleagues to encourage them. With the support of my extra- ordinary communication skills, I was able to make encourage my all colleague for finding appropriate salutation to prepare a budget for hotel (Rimmer, 2018). On that time, I have learnt one new thing that, if you have excellent communication skills, the n you can easily convince different people in daily life. Then finally, we started for searching on different platforms (internet, books & journals, financial magazines) about how to develop a productive budget for a
hotel. Literally, commutations skills play very great role in properly dealing with different challenges. Teamwork Teamwork abilities or skills also played very excellent role to me while facing hotel challenge. Basically, on that time I worked in a team where me and my other team member got task on preparing a budget. When was facing hotel challenge, then it said to my all colleagues that, we can resolve any challenge or problem by working in a team. At the end, we all team members putted our huge efforts to properly deal with that existing hotel challenge. Time Management/ Meeting Skills Time manage skills had supported to me for achieving our team goal in decided time period. Business Skills and Competencies There is proper knowledge of finance is very necessary for creating a budget, in which my business skills and competencies has helped me creating budget for hotel (Orlov and et.al., 2018). I have learnt from that hotel challenge that; we should easily deal with any challenge if we have appropriate skills and competencies. CONCLUSION It can be concluded that I will make an action plan for more developing these various skills in the future, because this step is very necessary for personal development.
