Section 1: Introduction to idea and its proposed development
Since earth is moving with not only the trees and nature but also the wastages that are
extracted by the humans. These are the wastages which are produces by human when they are
required but after its use they are not worth to humans. The most important wastage which is
extracted by human is plastic. Plastic is a type of wastage which is not going to decompose
easily. It takes hundreds of years to decompose into soil. That is why plastic is so hazardous for
our society since it taken many years to decompose in to soil and thus it harms our environment
very much. Plastic is used to produce many products such as mugs, toothbrush, buckets, chairs
etc.
In this report, a reflective discussion is made on the new product developed in the
replacement of toothbrush. My new venture is totally based on establishing the new product
which is the replacement of plastic brush. The product which is launched is Bamboo toothbrush.
This toothbrush is launched because it has many benefits. The most important benefit of this
product is that it is environment friendly. Since plastic is not suitable for the nature, therefore it’s
alternate such as Bamboo toothbrush is implemented. As soon as the plan of launching the new
toothbrush with Bamboo comes in mind, the place for this Bamboo tree is also required where
the raw material can be available easily. The raw material which is most required for the
launching of this new product is Bamboo tree. This tree is available in a bulk in the China. The
type of Bamboo available in China is Moso Bamboo which is most suitable for the toothbrush.
Since Bamboo is antimicrobial and biodegradable, therefore it is best suitable for toothbrush.
Ditch the plastic and move on with Bamboo. It is the sole title of my company which is
going to launch a new tooth brush in the replacement of plastic. Since my company is launching
a new product which is environment friendly, therefore the strips in the toothbrush is also
available in nylon 6 which is also degradable in a few months. The wood of Bamboo is
degradable in almost 6 months. Therefore it is used by our company. Bamboo comes in my mind
as a replacement of toothbrush because it is also used in kitchen appliances such as plate of
cutting vegetables and kitchen ware are also made up of bamboo.
When product is developed it is the time for me to find the promotion channel which is
best suited for me and my new venture. The promotion channel used in marketing of new

product is social media advertising and Telepromotions. These are sued because social media has
become a strong tool in now days to promote the product. The details of products and its
facilities reach to the customer automatically as it opens its account. This type of marketing does
not require a huge amount of resources such as human resource; cost and time etc. another type
of marketing is telepromotion. This is a type of promotion technique which is used to market the
product through television and phone calling.
Apart from above, the target customers for the product have a wide variety but the
company often targets the customers of UK and Europe. These are the customers which are
targeted because the factors which allows my product to sell out there is that there is a lot of
purchasing power in that region and customers are always environment friendly. Although
product is available to almost all the people but the target has set already set by the company.
Before targeting the customers, a value creation is also done of our new product. A small survey
by the company shows that almost 80% of the people changes their toothbrush in almost every
two months and 75% of the people try out the new product available to them.
Since the international community is trying to save the environment of the earth,
therefore there are a lot of chances of this new product to survive in market. It is a type of
innovation which is environment friendly and thus its development in future is secured. All the
countries in the world are now making some policies so that they can preserve their environment
and that is what required by them. Therefore I can suggest that this product has bright future in
the competitive market. The competitors of this product are also available but there is huge
difference between them and us. The difference is that they a huge market in the world but I have
chosen UK and Europe. Apart from that they have a slow distribution channel and if I distribute
my product with a rapid speed it can cover the entire market in a few times.
In this process of developing new venture I have learned how to raise funds through
crowd funding.
Section 2: Opportunity Formation
The problem which I perceive in my specific market is the problem of poor transportation
of student’s from one place to another. The problem in transportation is that the students take too
much time by traveling in UoR campus. Their valuable time was important for the project which
