To evaluate problems and factors that will have an impact on their business. As it is important
for the management to make plan of actions that will support them to overcome the risk and
problems as effectively and efficiently. It also supports the management to accomplish their
managerial targets without facing any barriers. Regent Group London is a group that involves
non earning private colleges (Yun, and et.al., 2021). It was established in the year of 1984 and
its branches that are placed at diverse locations for the suitability of their students. This college is
famous for their qualitative courses and skilled teachers to support students to solve their issues
smoothly. The following report include the resolution issues of their client and their issues that
they face. It also involves the competitor analysis, target consumer analysis and external business
analysis to overcome the problems. And at last it involves analysing three issues that are faced
by management and different manner to overcome them.

Client name is Rasika who is professionally experienced in marketing and joined the
group of Regent Group London in 2015. Rasika is accountable for advancing the college and
support the college to influence higher number of students towards their college. She is also
accountable to help the college and evaluate what all the variations they needed to adapt in their
college by evaluating students and their parents views towards their college. As there are varied
sort of the problems that are faced by Rasika and evaluate it at the time of working for college
and one of an effective problem is their promotional tactics (Wilf, 2021). It has been measured
that the Regent Group of London are not advancing their college and the services effectively in
the marketplace by that students and their parents prefer to shift other colleges with the purpose
of admission. So, Rasika decided to develop a campaign for the promotion of the Regent college
in the marketplace.
Breaking down the problem
The fundamental problem get break down and Rasika get to know the problem smoothly
by applying sort of marketing models in context to the Regent Group London that are as follows
- Porter five forces- This model is utilised to evaluate competitors forces for the business in
marketplace and understand that how their tactics will support them to gain competitive benefits.

they are getting strengths and what are their weakness to gain competitive benefits in the
marketplace. Threat of new entrants- It involves threat that are linked with new entered in the college
in the marketplace on Regent Group of Colleges in the London. In relation of educational
sector in the United Kingdom, most of the colleges who entered in the industry will
present their existence with efficient entrance tactics and with efficient funding tactics
(Thongpaeng, 2021). New college are having advanced techniques for learning and their
efficient promotional tactics that will support them in influencing higher amount of
consumer. So, this new entered colleges in the United Kingdom market have higher term
of impact on Regent Group London. Bargaining power of suppliers- In relation to the Regent College London, their providers
are those who deliver them computers and furniture as well for their students learning.
This college is having more than one supplier by which one supplier can shift to other
college then it will not have negative impact on them and they will rapidly shift to other
suppliers. Bargaining power of customers- In relation to the Regent Group of colleges, they are
needed to influence more students and their parents towards their college education and
services for effective learning. For this, they are advised to advance their college in the
marketplace at the time of new admissions. It is also efficient if they decrease the charges
of their courses and adapt different course by which students will have options to selects
any courses as per to their preferences and targets. Threat of substitute goods- As there are several colleges that can copy each others
operations and tactics to sustain in market with the aim of holding attention of students
for their own college (Magaisa, and Musundire, 2021). So, Regent group of colleges
should recruit skilled teachers and adapt effective techniques by which students can gain
practical and as well as general knowledge with proper direction by efficient teacher.
Competitive rivalry- It involves several competitors of Regent college in UK such as
university of Cambridge, University of Oxford and so on that are famous then Regent
university. It is important for Regent college to evaluate the tactics of their competitors
and decrease the charges of their college as compared to their competitors.

STP model- This concept is used to evaluate targeted market of the business. In relation of
Regent Group of colleges their STP model are as follows - Segmentation- It is the procedure of separating market into several section by which the
business will evaluate their sections that have higher profit. In relation to the Regent
College, they divided their market as according to their age group of consumers such as
they segmented 18 to 35 year students and 25 to 35 year students (Filion, Munroe-
Chandler, and Loughead, 2021). On other side, they also divided their market for parents
of the students to make them effective aware that their college is suitable for learning of
their children. As they also divided their market as per to geographical segmentation
that's why they have diverse divisions of their college at several places. Targetting- It is the procedure of choosing effective group or group of segmented
division to consider their targeted consumers. In relation to the Regent college they
targeted 15 to 30 year of students to take admissions, they also have 5 targeted locations
such as Harrow, Southall, Wembley,London and Kingsbury.
Positioning- It is the procedure of advancing management in market by which they can
targeted consumer to understand about them. In relation to the Regent college they also
promote their college services on social and as well on digital media by which they will
gain international level. They can also promote their college on TV while admission and
develop good relationship with consumers.
PEST analysis- It can be done to evaluate external business environment and their effects on
management. PEST analysis for Regent college that are as follows -
Political factors- In relation to the UK they have simple trading services. So, regent
college can take the request of their admissions of their students who migrated from other
places.
Economical factor- Employment rate of the UK is generally high. So, it will support the
Regent college to recruit skilled and capable teachers for their students. Infrastructure of
the UK are also good that are established and well maintained (Estrada, and et.al., 2021).
So, it will support the college to manage the situations of their building structure.
Social factors- It involves actions and aspects of students and society towards
management. In relation to the Regent group, their students have the attitude to learn

about theoretical and general knowledge. So, it will support college to concentrates on
satisfying demands of their students.
Technological factors- It involves adapting higher and advanced techniques for the
development. In relation to the Regent college, they adapted advanced software and
computers for effective and practical learning of their students. They also have physics
and chemistry labs for students for their learnings.
Top three issues of Regent college and the ways to mitigate them Bad promotional strategies- Regent college is not able to promote their college in market
by having problems and deficiency of new ideas of promotions. It will have negative
impact on the college and students and parents are not aware about services and learning
style (Boris, and et.al., 2021). This problem can be overcome by overcome by starting
promotion about the college on social media that have low cost and have multinational
reach. Communication issues- Regent college have communication problems in which students
and teacher are not able to communicate well and the domestic students are neglected to
communicate with migrants. It will have an impact on college brand value. So, this
problem can be overcome by offering them coaching and make them know about the
communication that can sort the problems and support them to live effective life.
Technological issues- Most of the issues will relates to the technological problems. Their
students are complaining about having obsolete computers which are in bad situation of
their computer lab (Chowdhury, 2021). This problem can be overcome by preparing
budget for enhancing for college infrastructure in technical field.
CONCLUSION
From the above mentioned report it has been concluded that, five forces model supported the
management in evaluating their competitive factors and STP model that will support to measure
targeted marketplace and business's positioning. PEST analysis will support to examine external
factors that support to evaluate their effects on business. It is important for business to measure
their marketing problems and make tactics to overcome such challenges.
