INTRODUCTION Religious tourism is a type of tourism where people travel travel in a group and individually for missionary or fellowship purpose. Mainly, it is one of the important part of travel and tourism industry which is related with the particular faiths that meet both their religious and spiritual needs. In addition of this, religious tourism is one of the famous and fast growing tourism in travel industry (Bahaee, Pisani and Shavakh, 2014). It includes various activities like pilgrimages, missionary travel, monastery, faith based camps and many more. Along with this, it is also related with the spiritual tourism that refer to the secular travel which is based on the includes an experiences, norms for the individual travellers. In recent years, religious travel and tourism has been developed into much larger in market and also includes multiple sub-niches. It is not only destination oriented but also express as well as attract large number of segments of the market. For travellers, religious tourism is primary reason with the purpose of trip which provide a destination with additional attraction that invite number of visitors over there. It directly contribute in enhancing the growth of the travel and tourism industry within the UK. It consider as one of the oldest form of tourism in which people travel with the intention to visit place of worship and holy places. One of the main advantage of this type of tourism for travel industry is to generate huge revenue that directly contribute in increasing overall growth of the nation.
