Assignment on Renewable Energy In The USA_1
Introduction
The use of non-renewable energy for so long has caused the global
warming.
Further use of non-renewable would worsen the condition of climate.
New Mexico is the state in the US that produces lowest energy from
alternative sources.
The state could use three types of alternative energy namely solar, wind
and hydroelectric energy source.
Assignment on Renewable Energy In The USA_2
Solar Energy
The first alternative energy source that New Mexico can use to replace non-
renewable source of energy is solar energy (Choi, Lee & Song, 2017).
Most of the electricity consumed in the state is produced from fossil fuel and
it emits carbon which is harmful for the climate (Lee, Kang, & Liou, 2017).
Use of production of electricity from solar power does not emits carbon.
The production of electricity from coal would reduce and thereby the
demand for fossil fuel reduces and thus carbon emission would decline.
Use of electricity produced from solar power in New Mexico is significant and
thus the alternative source would be effective for the state.

Negative Impact of Solar
Energy
Use of solar energy requires manufacturing of photo voltaic cell.
Materials used to manufacture photo voltaic cells are hazardous to the
environment.
The use of land and use of water to produce electricity from solar energy
leads to the loss of habitat.
The use of solar plates to produce electricity to provide the entire state
requires installation of photo voltaic cell.
The people would lose job that works in fossil fuel generated electricity.
