1. Outline of the Project
The local server rooms form a major integral part within every company. Despite of the
movement of IT hardware to different locations such as the cloud or datacentre, there would be many
cases in which the active network devices or stack of servers would be highly useful for the company.
The use of server rooms within the company forms a major critical aspect within any company. The use
of such kind of servers within the company would be highly required for bringing in efficiency of the
work processes. These server rooms are equipped with workstations, routers, large servers and many
other networked devices. This project discusses about the various forms of renovation changes that
would be made within the ABC Company.
The renovation project would incur the use of different forms of techniques that would require
a huge amount of planning. The communication plan, project risks and the project deployment phase
would be defined for the project. Based on the definition for the project, a post project review and
recommendations would be included for the project.
2. Requirements of the Project
The functional requirements that would be required for the project would include:
1. Technical Details – In the technical details, each of the necessities that would be required for
defining of the plan for the project would be defined.
2. Data Manipulation and Processing – In this process, the different forms of data would be
processed. This would help in gaining a clear understanding for the progress of the project.
3. Calculations – The different kind of calculations that would be performed during calculating
the costs of the project would be performed.
The non-functional requirements, which would be required during the project are:
1. Security – With the defining of the security aspects, the security within the server would be
defined during the renovation phase of the project.
